It's interesting, for sure. With lots of ball movement, there could be plenty of goal line work for Barber as well. I guess both players could very well have good nights, especially with the Bucs WR corps fairly banged up.OAK has allowed the 21st fewest receptions to RBs this year, SF the fewest.
It's gameflow based. ATL puts up points and has a relatively strong interior, teams usually choose/are forced to utilize their RBs in the passing game vs. them.
It's hard to glean too much information from Quizz's two starts.
Saying their only chance is to get a 31 year old emergency journeyman RB involved is an insult to the Bucs lol. This decision is killing me because the wire is garbage right now. Next best options are Prosise, Rainey and Dujuan Harris. I don't know what to do. I feel like getting Smith involved will be their only chance
I have McCoy/Gillislee in the mix as well. I'm leaning towards just waiting till Monday and playing one of them. I have a feeling McCoy plays in that oneIt comes down to the big play. I have to choose between Smith, Asiata and Gillislee. I may punt on this and hope McCoy plays. I love his speed though
It's really talent/workload vs. matchup. I seem to choose wrong on this more than usual this year.I have McCoy/Gillislee in the mix as well. I'm leaning towards just waiting till Monday and playing one of them. I have a feeling McCoy plays in that one
For non-studs, I weigh the variables as follows..It's really talent/workload vs. matchup. I seem to choose wrong on this more than usual this year.
I wouldn't worry at all, personally. The Bucs will (should?) have to throw. Smith should (?) be involved a good bit.I literally have no choice but to start Smith. Bye weeks and injuries have left me ridiculously thin at RB.
If you play Smith, you want Tampa to not stay in it. Just saying.Smith or Hightower for me as well. If Ingram out its easy .. rolling with Smith as TB has to control the ball to stay in it. Got 3 guys on a bye and Charles and Rawls out as well.
Is that the woman from the movie the Matrix as your Avatar? The Oracle IRRC?Antone Smith hype train in 2016 huh? What a time to be alive.
Suppose your right .. prolly effort in futility as I am playing Ryan, Julio, and EvansIf you play Smith, you want Tampa to not stay in it. Just saying.
Yes we want Bucs to trail all game.If you play Smith, you want Tampa to not stay in it. Just saying.
With those three, you're probably going to win anywaySuppose your right .. prolly effort in futility as I am playing Ryan, Julio, and Evans
If your logic is good, no reason to be mad if the result doesn't turn out like you think. it's almost impossible to get it right all the time. esp situations like thisFor non-studs, I weigh the variables as follows..
opportunity > match-up > talent
Opportunity is obviously the prerequisite which is why this situation is a bit scary. We're banking on negative gameflow. I mean, if TB were to hypothetically go up by several scores quickly we'd be absolutely boned. Given what we know about ATL's offense and TB's defense however, this is just unlikely. Plus, Vegas agrees.
Regardless as to how this pans out, I'm comfortable with my decision because I believe my logic to be sound.
CorrectIs that the woman from the movie the Matrix as your Avatar? The Oracle IRRC?
Yeah, plus I take solace in the fact that there are an unhealthy amount of people spot starting a 31 year old journyman with 53 career touches in fantasy tonight. If your logic is good, no reason to be mad if the result doesn't turn out like you think. it's almost impossible to get it right all the time. esp situations like this
Isn't it fun? going against smithYeah, plus I take solace in the fact that there are an unhealthy amount of people spot starting a 31 year old journyman with 53 career touches in fantasy tonight.
Playing against themWith those three, you're probably going to win anyway
Makes me feel better about starting Smith, didn't you go up against Bortles last Thursday night?Isn't it fun? going against smith
If you play Smith, you want Tampa to not stay in it. Just saying.
Buck lead the entire 2nd half in their 1st gameYes we want Bucs to trail all game.
Yup thx for reminding meMakes me feel better about starting Smith, didn't you go up against Bortles last Thursday night?
Is he a good receiver?Watch Mike James take over instead of either of them...
Now imagine if they were losing the whole second half.Buck lead the entire 2nd half in their 1st game
RBs were
rush 22-71
rec 8-8 66 and a TD
ooh i like that ideaNow imagine if they were losing the whole second half.
He might do the best, but I bet they all struggle.Watch Mike James take over instead of either of them...
Let's not.Just realized my opponent in #1 league is using him tonight... looked good until the fumble. Lets hope he gets the Ingram treatment and rides the pine for the rest of the night!
