I preface this buy making the huge assumption that Austin Collie can stay healthy, BUT if he could stay healthy, why couldn't he put up 80% of the numbers Wes Welker did?
The Patriots are in serious need of someone stepping up (their rookie wr's aren't ready yet) and it seems pretty clear at...
As a Thomas owner I'm starting to get a little concerned about the distribution of targets in Denver. In a game where P.Manning threw for over 400 yards and the team put up over 50 points, D.Thomas only had only 6 targets and 57 yards. If you look at his game logs this isn't a one time...
Is Brown worth a pickup?
It's not easy to predict how quickly a player will return from a concussion. Combine that with the fact that Phily is pretty much out of it and has no reason to rush McCoy back into action is there a chance Brown takes this job and runs with it? How good of a player is he?
Just read a couple of reports that say Pierre Garçon "has a better chance of playing this week than you think"...I grabbed him off the ww on the off chance that Garçon can come back and contribute...Are there any Washington homers out there who may have better information on the pontential...
In no way am I questioning Andre Johnson's talent, but given the dominance of the Texans running game I am starting to wonder if Johnson is an still elite fantasy WR.
Just look at his stat line over the last two weeks. In both weeks the Texans only targeted him 4 games.
Week 2 AJ had 3 catches...
Some questions about Ahmad Bradshaw going forward...
1/ Assuming that Bradshaw returns healthy this week what will his role be going forward?
2/ Is he going to lose a lot of touches to Brown and Wilson?
3/ Is he a good buy low candidate in a high powered offense?
4/ Will he continue to be...
Anybody else think that this is a big week for Peyton Hillis? Despite being billed as the co-starter on the depth chart Hillis was nothing, but a role player last week in a blowout loss. I think there is a chance that the Chiefs get Hillis a ton of touches today in what could be a high scoring...
As someone who took a late round flyer and Cedric Benson I couldn't be happier tonight. Not only did Benson put up solid numbers tonight (116 total yards) against a very good defense the real story here is the serious commitment the Packers made to getting him the ball. Benson ran the ball 20...
I didn't get to see any of the Chiefs game today, but Peyton Hillis's stat line was just plain ugly...Was all the 50/50 time share talk just coach speak or was week 1 a blip on the radar?
According to both Fox and ESPN Felix Jones will not play if the Giants beat the Jets and only a 50/50 shot he plays if they lose to the Jets...If anyone needed any more conformation to stay away from Felix Jones this week this is it.
Even if Jones plays you can't count on him for anything given...
Any thoughts on what to expect from Sammy Morris if he gets the start for the Cowboys this week? My best guess would be something like 80-90 combined yards and a good chance to score on a td. He actually looked pretty good last week gaining about 50 yards on ten carries.
I don't doubt Felix...
With Roy Helu banged up and very questionable a guy to really keep an eye on is Evan Royster. He has cleary taken the backup slot from Ryan Torrain (a healthy scratch last week) and would be in line for a major role should Helu not be able to go.
I have read that Helu's status for Sunday is...
Where would you rank Santonio Holmes going forward? I viewed him as a weak #2 WR or a great #3 WR coming into this season, but as of now he is barely a number 4 on a good roster. My question is Holmes a good buy low candidate or will he continue his mediocrity?
So far this season Austin Collie would have to be classified as one of the biggest busts of the 2011 season. Last year when healthy Collie was on a pace to put up top 5/10 WR numbers. This year Collie seems lost. Three games into the season he doesn't even have 50 yds receiving.
Does anyone...
Has there been a bigger bust in 2010 than Ray Rice? His ADP was #4 in the first round, but he continues to produce the numbers of a rb who should have been taken as a weak #2 or a solid #3 rb in most leagues.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that Moss is going to revert to 2007 form, but having Kerry Collins throwing him the ball should help Moss out some decent numbers up.
Guys like Rusty Smith and Vince Young simply do not throw the ball well enough for the type of player Moss is.
