FFA Movie Poll - 1989 It's snail paced Countdown Monday!! (2 Viewers)

Westerns might be my least favorite genre, but Unforgiven is a movie I really like.   It probably helps to like the others, but I would still encourage people to try it even if they don't like others of his or in that genre.
I’m not a western guy either. I’m actually just this year watching a lot of the classics. But I saw Unforgiven in the mid early/mid 90s and was immediately taken back by its greatness.

So, back to discussing movies:  UHF didn't even break 30 points and I've never seen it.  It's $7 right now on Vudu.  Worth it from anyone who liked it?
Maybe, for one scene alone.  May have never laughed so hard at a movie before.

I really liked uhf but there's no way I would spend more than 3 cents for it.

Stanley Spedowski's playhouse is the scene I have to imagine.

Thanks for doing this, @Hov34.  I deleted the rules and posted this in the OP for a quick reference if we ever want to go back and look at what got votes.

Unforgiven is the closure on Eastwood's westerns. It's both a counterpoint to his Spaghetti westerns and somewhat a conclusion to the exploration of the conflicted "principled gunslinger with a cause" he started in Outlaw Josey Wales along with the anti-hero he started in High Plains Drifter.

If you didn't like any of those, you probably won't like this one either.
I agree with that and love all 3 films.

And I'm still wondering how he ever made that piece of crap Pale Rider.
