Demercardo sucks though. Evans is a rookie with legit pedigree who has already shown juice. Not saying he's a world beater but he's absolutely a better back than two washed up vets no other team wants.
Calling it now. Freeman and Henderson start the game. McVay is being conservative and wants guys he knows can protect Stafford.
But when push comes to shove, those guys will not get it done on the ground. They'll average 3.3 yards per carry and McVay will turn to Evans for some juice.
And boy...
Is there anywhere we can go to see where he said this? I'm assuming this is like any TV news provider who accidentally releases the wrong version of a prepared news scrawl. They always have multiple versions of announcements ready that they know are possible. So almost certainly there is no...
I'm almost certain you don't trade for a player at the deadline who is currently injured. This indicates to me that he was never really injured at all and they were protecting him as they sought trades.
IF (big IF) he was healthy this whole time and Giants were just holding him out to trade him, then he could be a very solid bench stash right now to see how this plays out.
My guess is Reid wanted to see what he has in Pacheco by giving him a larger role before the bye (why else would you shift him into the starting pole position if not to use him as your lead back?) but then Skyy Moore muffed a punt.
Think about it. What happened after that? Pacheco was shifted...
It took Saquon 2 years to get back to form. Not sure how long it took Dalvin but I seem to remember him also suffering nagging injuries when he came back, much like Saquon, because athlete's bodies tend to overcompensate in the aftermath of injuries and recovery.
My guess is it takes Breece 2...
Would love to do that but it would mean choosing Hall over one of Hurts, Hill, AJB and not sure that's the wisest move if I can't use Hall most of next season.
What do you do with Hall in a keeper league? ACL tears tend to affect a player's performance for years. Seems it takes 2 years after surgery for a player to get back to any semblance of normal.
Would it be crazy to drop him?'
EDIT: It's a 3-keeper league so can't keep anyone we want. Most...
I don't think we're far off in our takes. I see CMC getting less touches in SF than he did in CAR. When his body was breaking down on him, he was somewhere north of 85-90% of RB touches, I believe. I'm saying he'll have somewhere in the low 70%. That's a hefty decrease in touches, but it's still...
There's no way you trade what they traded to get him without the belief that he's your every-down RB. I don't even have CMC and I see them using him 70% of RB touches.
How many QB's in the entire league can be expected to go 300/3 every week? Josh Allen, Mahomes, and that's it... Maybe Hurts but he's more likely to put up points with his legs than via his receivers.
I'm astonished at how overlooked Eno Benjamin is in this thread. Dude is going to be a stud league-winner if Conner is out longer than expected, and I'd say we should expect at least a couple weeks with how the Cardinals are adding running depth right now.
Yeah I'm specifically talking re-draft. He could be a sneaky league-winner type pickup this week since the Cards haven't announced Conner's injury status but have been quietly adding RBs for depth. Even if Conner is only out 1-2 weeks, Eno has week-winning potential with their schedule.
How is there no chatter on this guy? If both Darrell Williams and Conner are out, he's an easy lock for RB2 numbers. If both those guys are out long-term, which is a real possibility with how they're adding RB depth on the team right now, then he has potential league-winner status.
