Shocking news that Rice still hasn't recovered from the hip injury he received in the NFCC. In the second link Rice has zero doubt in his mind that he'll be ready to go week one, but he said the same thing after skipping Fitz's camp.

"He's been doing a lot of running in water on a treadmill but we wanted him to work on his conditioning and his movement on land because that's where we're playing the game," Childress said. "We're not playing it in the water."

Starting CB Griffin also started camp on the PUP list but that was almost expected. What really blew my doors off is the fact that starting MLB E.J. Henderson was in the first team drills on day one. For those of us that witnessed the horror when he broke his femur, many of us were convinced that he'd never play another down.
