Three round draft, nearing half way.

16 team 25 man rosters + rookie taxi, single QB (notable scoring is 6 point TD, 0.5 comp -0.5 inc), 3 x WR/RB flex, 2 x WR/RB flex so no requirement to start TE or any specific position for that matter.

Tackle heavy IDP (1 point solo, 0.75 assist) amongst other fractional scoring across the board designed to get a 50/50 split offense/defense for around 100 points average each week.

23 year old league so while it's single QB we all know the value of a decent starter at the position - meaning every single backup QB is rostered and rookie signal callers are taken high.

Bowers slid considerably but did get picked up eventually by one of the best performing teams over the past decade.

Coleman over Nabors, Odunze and Bowers (format)?

That's Insanity or genius. Not much middle ground there. I'm leaning heavily towards insanity
Coleman 10 picks ahead of Odunze is insanity and its not close
Yeah. But to be fair, his leagues are consistently filled with guys who don't know what they're doing.

Superflex

16 team, 1 QB, full PPR. 1st round completed:

1) Marvin Harrison Jr
2) Caleb Williams
3) Malik Nabors
4) Rome Odunze
5) Jayden Daniels
6) Jonathan Brooks
7) Brock Bowers
8) Brian Thomas Jr
9) Xavier Worthy
10) Keon Coleman
11) JJ McCarthy
12) Ladd McConkey
13) Trey Benson
14) Adonai Mitchell
15) Bo Nix
16) Drake Maye

Some context: This is a contract league and has an obsession with QBs, which is a little more understandable in a 16 team, but still over the top IMO. The guy who took Caleb at #2 also had pick 4, so he wanted one of Nabors/Odunze AND Caleb, so he took Caleb 1st to insure that. Personally I would have taken my choice of Nabors or Odunze, betting #3 would grab the other and I could get Williams at #4. If the guy at pick 3 had a stroke and took Caleb, then I end up with both Nabors and Odunze.

Whatever happened to Troy Franklin's stock? I feel like he used to be a toss-up with Thomas as the 4-5th WR. Bad combine?

One interesting thing I’m seeing in non-SF is almost no trades. This is weird, used to lots of movement. I’m seeing people asking about wanting to trade back but nobody seems want to move up.

Perceived depth that makes people want to move back, also disincentives those in a position to move up.

Agreed. People might trade up into the top 3 or 4, but after that, might as well stand pat and grab a guy from the large tier of players in the mid-1st to mid-2nd range.

Yeah I saw it as there’s not many players people are excited for.

Not sure. I guess the more in depth analytics didn't love him. I did wind up taking him over Sinnott. Here's the next several picks:

3.2 Franklin
3.3 Sinnott
3.4 Vidal
3.5 Estime
3.6 Corley
3.7 Irving
3.8 McMillan
3.9 McCaffery

I've offered my 4.2 and 5.11 for 3.10 with the hopes of taking Sanders.

15 team SF,
I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen a 15 team league. How’s that working out?
Great. We do doubleheaders of course. We play each other twice overall which is true factor of evenness. Start out and end with division games. Gives a little more depth than 16 since we start 11 O players. Like the playing each other even amount of times the best. Expanded to 15 with extra week added to season.

Also, just realizing this, it is very possible there could be some rookie drafts that include:

Franklin
Lloyd
Wright

consecutively. Which would be pretty funny.

Franklin slipped to Day 3 (Round 4) as the 17th WR off the board. Disappointing, for sure. Yet, he pairs up in Denver with his college QB and playing in a pass-friendly offense under Sean Payton. Franklin will have to ascend the WR depth chart, but I like his odds to eventually overtake Reynolds and Patrick. Aside from Mims, this is an older WR room. Courtland Sutton turns 29 in Oct, Josh Reynolds is 29, and Tim Patrick turns 31 in Nov. Franklin had a disappointing pre-draft cycle, but he falls into an excellent situation for potential long-term success.

Franklin is no longer considered among the likes of Thomas/McConkey/Worthy, etc..., but he is an excellent mid-round fantasy target for patient Dynasty managers

10 tm, SF, PPR

1.01 Williams, Caleb
1.02 Harrison Jr., Marvin

1.07 Bowers, Brock
1.08 Maye, Drake
1.09 McConkey, Ladd
1.10 Worthy, Xavier

I've snagged Odunze, Brooks, Benson, Burton, Vidal, Malik Washington, Laube, Stover and Watson..

Ohh yeah, I wasn't thinking of actual draft capital spent. Thought Denver was a decent landing spot, but the slip to later round clearly indicates something as you point out. Good call.

1 QB .5 ppr for all positions but RB. The running backs get .25 ppr. Start 9 total and start 1-3 RB, WR 2-4, TE 1-3. It is a salary contract league. The 1st round picks must be given 3-4 year contracts. The 2nd round is 2-4, and the 3rd round picks 1-4. The 3rd rounders are also at league-minimum contracts. The rookie draft still flows mostly like a dynasty draft, but I added the information for context. The contract pricing for the first round and 2nd round is valued on a scale from the draft slot selected. The format is fun because it can lead to all kinds of scenarios later on with the cap. There is dead money against the cap, but it is easy to understand; you can get in trouble if you do not pay attention.

Funnily enough ours is going super slow because there have been so many trades. I have a feeling though that's about to change in a big way as the depth drops off fairly drastically after about 25 players.

:blackdot:Super appreciative of those who post here each year. As a Devy player, using others' rookie drafts helps me immensely each year try to make sense out of the remaining pool relative to post-draft landing spots.

Bowers still 1.04 :(

Will probably have a poor rookie year, but they’ll be upgrading QB next year I’d imagine.

Might even be better to not draft but trade for next offseason.

I hear this theory a lot from "experts" on Sirius XM but you have to ask yourself if you paid the 1.04 for Bowers this year and he didn't bust out are you really giving up on him and selling him for less value 1 year later ? No good dynasty manager is doing that unless they seen something that makes them think he is going to bust.

I had some poor sap in my TE premium league last year trade away McBride for a future 3rd early last year those are called bad fantasy managers not people trading for cheap on a guy who busted year 1.

People really haven't corrected for Franklin have they.
What would ‘correction’ look like in your opinion? His ranking and ADP seems appropriate for 17th drafted WR, IMHO. Hard to argue what the NFL thought of him. No doubt he’ll go earlier in some drafts.

Whoa McConkey before Odunze and Worthy? Is that a Georgia fan drafting there? I would say Chargers fan but I am not sure if those exist.
McConkey ahead of Worthy isn't outlandish (that's where I rank the two of them personally), but Odunze is a different matter. Only reason to fade would be redraft but even then I'd hesitate to pass on him for McConkey or Worthy.

Thinking Caleb Williams #2 is the biggest head scratcher
I fairness his QBs were Carr, Pickett, Dobbs, and Zach Wilson.

He probably could have traced that pick for way more value than Caleb tho

I took McConkey over Worthy. Didn't have a chance at Odunze.
I don’t like that choice but I can understand it- sort of. Totally puzzled by him over Odunze.
