Redskins SS Reed Doughty suffered a concussion in Sunday night's Week 13 game against the Giants.

Rams LT Jake Long was forced from Sunday's Week 13 game against the 49ers with a head injury and will not return.
Long and Zac Stacy banged heads in the third quarter as they both tried blocking the same defender. Both players were on the ground, though Stacy was helped up quickly. Long remained on the turf before eventually being guided to the sideline. Rodger Saffold has shifted from right guard to left tackle.

Panthers RE Greg Hardy did not start Sunday's Week 13 game against Tampa Bay after being late to a team meeting.

49ers LT Joe Staley exited Sunday's Week 13 game against the Rams in the first quarter with a right knee injury and will not return.
Staley was hurt on the opening drive and had to be assisted to the sideline by trainers. He was quickly ruled out for the rest of the game. Alex Boone has shifted from right guard to left tackle

The initial diagnosis on 49ers LT Joe Staley is a sprained MCL in his right knee.
Per the Sacramento Bee, Staley will miss the Week 14 showdown against the Seahawks

Bucs CB Darrelle Revis was forced from Sunday's game against the Panthers with a shoulder/chest injury.

Panthers DT Dwan Edwards was forced from Sunday's game against the Bucs with a leg injury, and will not return.

Vikings CB Chris Cook was ejected from Sunday's Week 13 game for making contact with an official.

A source tells ProFootballTalk.com that the "current thinking" is that LT Branden Albert dodged a serious injury in Sunday's Week 13 loss to the Broncos.
Albert went down with a knee injury and had to leave on a cart. The impending free agent is headed for a Monday MRI

Jaguars FS Josh Evans (shoulder) is "very questionable" for Thursday's game against the Texans.

Redskins MLB London Fletcher sustained a sprained ankle during the fourth quarter of Sunday's Week 13 loss to the Giants.
Fletcher said he wouldn't know how severe the sprain is until Monday.Broncos CB Champ Bailey was benched during the Chiefs' final drive on Sunday.
Dee Milliner was again benched in Sunday's Week 13 loss to the Dolphins.
It's the third time this season that the No. 9 overall pick has been benched in favor of former UDFA Darrin Walls

Broncos LE Derek Wolfe was released from the hospital Monday.
Per the Denver Post, a battery of tests have still not revealed exactly why Wolfe suffered a seizure-like episode on the team bus Friday afternoon. He's not expected to play in this week's game against the Titans. "Right now we're not thinking about his availability or any of that stuff," coach John Fox said.

Antonio Cromartie has been officially diagnosed with a concussion.

Cardinals FS Tyrann Mathieu will undergo surgery to repair his torn left ACL and LCL on Tuesday, December 17.
We like to keep track of surgery dates for bookkeeping purposes. Coach Bruce Arians told reporters Monday that Mathieu is considered doubtful to participate in 2014 training camp, primarily because the LCL pushes back the ACL recovery.

The Broncos benched MLB Wesley Woodyard in their Week 14 win over Tennessee.

Bengals LCB Terence Newman is out 1-3 weeks with a sprained MCL.
Lions rookie CB Darius Slay had his torn meniscus surgically repaired last Friday and is considered "week to week."
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll confirmed Monday that SLB K.J. Wright will require surgery on his broken foot.

The Broncos benched SS Duke Ihenacho in Sunday's Week 14 win over the Titans.
After playing virtually every snap through the first 12 games of the season, Ihenacho saw just 22-of-51 snaps on Sunday. Omar Bolden stepped in at free safety while Mike Adams shifted from free to strong safety.

Lions RE Ziggy Ansah sustained a shoulder injury during Sunday's Week 14 loss at Philadelphia.
Ansah went down in the second half and was not available to return.

Vikings CB Xavier Rhodes was forced from Minnesota's Week 14 game against the Ravens with an ankle injury, and will not return.
Rhodes went down midway through the fourth quarter, and was immediately ruled out.

Falcons FS Thomas DeCoud exited Sunday's Week 14 game at Lambeau with a first-quarter head injury.

sean lee apparently praying on the field

Cowboys MLB Sean Lee was forced from Monday night's game against the Bears with a neck injury and will not return.
Lee crunched his neck on a third-quarter tackle. He quickly returned but aggravated it shortly thereafter. Lee appears to be dealing with a stinger.

The only other injuries were to inside linebackers Jamari Lattimore (knee) and Brad Jones (ankle), who did not return. McCarthy said the medical staff "felt pretty good about Brad," though he didn't have information on Lattimore.

Cowboys ILB Sean Lee (neck) has been ruled out for Week 15.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Cowboys ILB Sean Lee is dealing with a sprained ligament in his neck.
Schefter calls Lee "week to week," and confirms he has not been cleared to play. He isn't even practicing. Lee's injury is more severe than a routine stinger

Jaguars rookie SS Johnathan Cyprien (hamstring) is listed as doubtful for Week 15.

Bills MLB Kiko Alonso "tweaked" his knee at Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Week 15 against the Jaguars.

Falcons rookie S Zeke Motta will get the start at free safety in place on Thomas DeCoud (concussion) versus the Redskins.

apparently, bruce carter is also out --- didn't even know he was hurt.

I think durant returns to action
Lee and Carter out could mean a good opportunity for Wilber to put up numbers. 10 tackles last week and he's DE eligible at least on ESPN, probably on other platforms too.

that's a good angle, but I'd be a little concerned about snaps -- I'd expect nickel around 70% and wouldn't it maybe be sims and durant in nickel?

bennett was only on the field for 44% of the snaps for the bears, and durant wasn't even active when they were shuffling in subs later in the game.

ps

Lions CB Chris Houston (toe) is listed as doubtful for Week 15.

Titans WLB Zach Brown was benched during the first quarter of Sunday's Week 15 loss to the Cardinals.

Brown gave up a 26-yard completion to Andre Ellington on the second series of the game and was strapped to the pine. Third-round rookie Zaviar Gooden has taken over.

that's a pretty interesting development

Cowboys LB Justin Durant was forced from Dallas' Week 15 game against the Packers with a hamstring injury, and will not return.
The Browns are calling CB Joe Haden's injury a hip pointer.
Bills DT Marcell Dareus exited Sunday's Week 15 game against the Jaguars with an ankle injury and will not return.

Texans CB Johnathan Joseph suffered a groin injury in Sunday's loss.

Linebacker Zach Brown played poorly early against the Cardinals, which is why there was a quick decision to replace him, Munchak said.

Brown started and played only six snaps, replaced after a 26-yard completion to Cardinals running back Andre Ellington. Rookie linebacker Zaviar Gooden stepped in and played 43 snaps.

Brown is the team’s second-leading tackler (104) and is tied for second in sacks (four).

“We have high expectations for Zach,” Munchak said. “Last year, he came on strong the last part of the year with some big plays, with some sacks and interceptions, and things kind of fell his way, so we expected a lot from him.

“We feel the last few weeks isn’t quite what we want to see. ... We felt that when the game started off, he was a little flat, so we gave Zaviar a chance to play. We thought he was pretty solid when he was in there.”

Asked what Brown needed to improve upon, Munchak said: “A little bit of everything — (he’s) just inconsistent on what he’s being asked to do. He just needs to play better.”

00:03: The time on the left in the first half when the Packers ran their final play, the aforementioned 34-yard pass to Lacy. It was on that play that Ernie Sims suffered a hip injury - after "starting" MLB Justin Durant had already left the game due to a re-aggravation of his hamstring injury. That meant that the Cowboys would be down to their third MLB on the gameday depth chart, rookie DeVonte Holloman. Given that Durant and Sims were manning the position due to injuries to starter Sean Lee, Holloman was essentially the team's fourth string middle 'backer - and might have been their fifth-stringer had Bruce Carter been healthy enough to move to the middle.

For the final thirty minutes, the Cowboys ran a starting LB corps of Holloman (a sixth-round rookie who has missed much of the season due to injuries), Kyle Wilber (who spent all of training camp and the first ten games of the season as a defensive end) and Cam Lawrence (a try-hard camp body who eked out a spot on the practice squad).

Colts placed ILB Pat Angerer on injured reserve, ending his season.
Angerer was a healthy inactive in Week 15, but dealt with a knee injury earlier this year that is expected to require surgery.
