I traded up actually from 1.12 (gave up a 2025 2nd), but 1.11 told me they would have taken him there. We have alot of JJ, Waldman, Matt Harmon readers in this league.
Not sure why Reed is being valued the way he is, probably the non-early declare.
Not competing this year at all. I’m 2-5. I have 3 firsts and 2 early 2s in 2023. 2 1sts in 2024
PPR
Some of my key players
Hurts, Kyler
Breece, ETN, bunch of randoms
DJ moore, Kirk, Juju, Treylon Burks
Do I take this deal?
If Taylor gives us starting caliber points this year, consider it gravy. Like has been stated in this thread already. 2018 is Davis/Taylor time. The hope here is Mariota takes the next step and can support two upper tier wrs.
That's good news. I agree with what you said before though, he's a year 2 stud. These are the types of players you grab in 3rd and 4th round rookie drafts.
He will be 1B to Davis' 1A for years to come.
This guy deserves a thread. The next Antonio Brown or nah?
He's one of my favorite rookies this year, I like him in the top 5 if not 3 dynasty wr, drafted him in the third round rookie draft.. I'm expecting Mariota to take the next step and support two good wr options.
How about this 48...
How are you guys feeling about him in dynasty? I recently traded a likely mid 1st rounder for him.
Even in a deep draft, I think if you can get almost guaranteed WR3/Flex value in PPR with WR2 upside or more, you take it.
Playerprofiler has him at WR20 right now dynasty, DLF did a 2017 mock...
26 total roster spots.
3 WR -- OBJ, Brandin Cooks, Diggs
2 RB -- Freeman, Gio
1 TE -- Brate. DAllen, Clay
1 WT -- Quick, Kerley, Hogan, Kearse, Funchess
1 WRT -- Rawls, Richard, Vereen, etc
This is my first year in a dynasty league (also first auction draft here) so I'm wondering if this...
They're both the same age, I really anticipate similar yardage and a 4-5 TD deficit for Brown through their careers.
30 points a year is a lot, it basically drops you from the truly elite WR, into that no-mans land anywhere from ~7-16. I feel I can compete this year, and it's a 11 years...
lol, of course not. They're all shades of the same truth. AJ Green isn't "injury prone" but AJ Green also isn't iron-man.
Either way, Antonio Brown might be the best I could have gotten for him 1 hr after he got carted off the field.
While that is true, I can recall at least 3 games through those years where he was injured but playing as an unproductive decoy, there are sure to be more.
I certainly prefer Green long-term. This might be Brown's career year, and sure the TDs will regress. I'm just 3-2 right now in a competitive league (it's standard 3 WR, 2 RB, 2 flex, 21 roster spots and I lost AP), middling/top in points and felt the need to make this move. Must-win time...
