The tightest of races: Kevin Stefanski and DeMeco Ryans each received 165 points in voting for AP NFL Coach of the Year, but Stefanski won with 21 first-place votes to Ryans’ 20.
And Stefanski takes the win.

If you keep it at 2 weeks, bring back the Playoff Bowl for the Sunday between SB and Conference Championships. Getting to see Lions and Ravens go at it would be sweet. Provide sizable player bonuses a comp 3rd round pick to the winning team to make it worthwhile to the teams to play...
I'm not disputing he led the comebacks either. I like the dude and hope he succeeds. But he definitely has a bit of the Eli Manning vibes to him. Basically, he wins but in doing so alternates between looking incredible and terrible, sometimes within a play or two of one another.
Some plays...
It's not really the length of time for me, but rather the repetitiveness. I'd much prefer near the game end, they present a 44 second montage of split screen, with Kelce plays on one side, and her reaction to those on the other side.
Instead it seems like during every Chiefs drive, "Kelce...
Voted "sort of dislike it" just because I think the TV coverage overdoes it. Once or twice a game, no big deal. The networks are rarely able to contain themselves to that however.
I'd feel the same way no matter who it was. If during a routine Saints game, the CBS broadcast team felt it...
A couple of the passes he threw looked like pure panic and not "elite mental processing" to me. There were several times where one of his throws could have easily been intercepted, or where one of his WRs needed to make a heroic catch. Yeah I get that happens to every QB sometimes even the elite...
The no call of blatant pass interference during the Saints-Rams playoff game in 2019 that let the Rams go the Super Bowl. Whole lot of knock-on effects from that:
1. Brees gets to compete in another Super Bowl
2. Pats and Brady might have lost against NO instead of a weak Rams team
3. Goff...
Will readjust this assessment if the Titans either nail or bomb the draft, but for real life still probably a project who will show flashes but struggle most weeks. For fantasy, a flyer in QB1 redraft leagues that has some upside. Probably won't get the weapons or OL to say "he had a fair...
Let me add another wrinkle to it:
Quarterback X season stats: 63.7% completion rate for 4,575 yards, 30 TD, 12 INTS, Sacked 30 times. Lifetime 0.57 playoff record. Over 10 years, this QB brought his team to the Super Bowl once.
Quarterback Z season stats: 65.6% completion rate for 4,381...
I love how folks here are like "<insert any QB who's not Mahomes> is a mid QB, he's a game manager! Lions should ditch him get someone whose play elevates the team to the Super Bowl, rather than just being along for the ride and coasting on the other strengths of the team."
It all comes across...
The Eagles playoff meltdown was very much foreshadowed when Jalen Hurts publicly questioned whether the team was 'committed enough'.

Wonder if this tweet changes anyone's mind about what to do with the 1.01 pick? Here's the tl;dr:
Trading back and drafting a cheaper QB may sound good in theory, but here's how much you increase your odds of drafting a QB who will hit these (success) marks at No. 1 as opposed to another top-5...
Not arguing the fit, but why would the Pats want him considering they have the 1.03 pick? Can't imagine they'd pass on a draft QB in favor of Russ Wilson of all folks.
If the Pats didn't want to "take the risk" of a rookie pick, then pay Kirk Cousins and draft MJH Jr with the 1.03.
If you...
Partially agree with OP. A "good" coach isn't needed for a team filled with superstars to succeed.
That being said, a bad coach can absolutely tank a team filled with superstars. You put Hue Jackson in charge of the Ravens they're probably out of the playoffs this year.
