I figured as much....but I was just explaining where the opposition to capital punishment and abortion come from among Christians.  It has to do with the dignity of the human person who was created in the likeness and image of God....

If Christianity is a bizarre value set, then you are quite right. But he absolutely states it correctly within the confines of Christianity.  The innocent unborn baby is equal in God's eyes to the mass murderer.  Both are God's children   

I didn't say he was doing a great job.  I said I didn't see anything so disastrous that he would AUTOMATICALLY lose.  People really care about their pocketbook, so inflation is a big deal.  People aren't going to vote somebody out based on Afghanistan or illegal immigration.  

This is good posting.  Trump isn't trouncing anybody in a general.  He won't win the popular vote, which means it's gonna have to be the inside straight in the electoral college.  It's possible, but it's not going to be a "trouncing"

Perfectly stated.  In other words, it's complicated.  Part of the problem with this hyper partisanship we have right now is people are providing answers in 120 characters or less to extremely complicated things and act like they don't know that it's extremely complicated....

I can only answer with what my faith teaches.  War is permissible for defensive purposes.  One should care about indiscriminate killing.  Biological, chemical and nuclear weapons kills indiscriminately.  Conventional weapons can target military targets while trying to avoid civilian targets...

We are not told to judge.  We judge whether or not someone committed a crime, but we don't judge people's humanity

It might just be a Trump phenomenon.  Usually, I can stomach whatever flaws I think the Republican candidate has, but it's more like Trump has revealed the ugly underbelly and right now, I'm not sure what the Trump voters even stand for, other than hating everybody not like them and conspiracy...

I didn't say anything about supporting LGBT.  But we should be kind and respectful because they are children of God just as we are.  You and I may disagree with trans women competing against biological females, for example, but the vitriol toward the trans athlete is out of bounds.  So it's OK...
