It's been fun, but unless Gould has a field day tonight, my streak has come to an end. Sitting at 121 with Gould to go. Matt Ryan finally did me in as well.
178.5 this week, looks like it will be enough to see another week. I have some byes this week, most notably Chris Johnson and Percy Harvin, will need some help from others to get through the next week.
I survived week 7 without a QB, that was the week I was sweating the most. I have a couple duds on my roster ie Evan Royster and Doug Baldwin, but I think I might have enough power to stick around for a bit. This is by far the farthest I've made it in this contest.
I personally like The Audible as well as Brad Evans podcast on Yahoo Sports Radio, at a very minimum, very entertaining!
Two good and relatively easy listens.
The guy is a train wreck, I didn't catch this one, but he did make reference to a Sega Genesis about a month ago. He used to be on Atlanta radio and was happy he found a "better" gig at the NFL Network.
In all honesty, I read most of those reports as well, but my thing is just 9 months removed from ACL surgery, I'm not sure how effective he can be likely being replaced by one of the other backs.
Here are a couple articles I liked regarding torn ACL's and RB performance

Shanahan will drive fantasy owners nuts, we all know that, but if we take a look at last years numbers, it may not be that difficult to figure him out, at least for 2011.
Weeks 1-4 and Week 7, Tim Hihgtower took the reigns averaging 16.8 carries per game averaging 64.2 yards per game averaging...
Much like others, after Lynch's story broke, I went to the next guy in line and that will be Turbin when/if it happens.
Here is what I noticed from doing some watching of highlights (yes, it's called a highlight reel for a reason, I know).
He has good speed running a 4.5 40 at the combine if...
I agree with the concept of the a pass rush slowing down these types of teams. The Falcons are going with the theory they have the pass rushers with Abraham and Ray Edwards (injured last season to slow him down), but they feal new DC Mike Nolan will get more out of the players in place. This...
"So, what do you see happening in 2012, league-wide? Will we see five 5000+ yard passers this year, or will things come down slightly? I agree that the trend is not going away. I'm just trying to get a handle on what it means this year. The numbers speak to a fairly slow growth, but we saw an...

Sam Baker is the where most fingers are pointing to in pre-season. Being a 1st round selection, he has never played up to his potential and has been replaced at times for various reasons. Sometimes injury, sometimes poor play, sometimes both.
The Falcons have to protect Ryan to keep...
