I decided to grab Josh Johnson and start him. I have Andrews (TE premium) which was looking like a good thing with Huntley. As for the widely feared Johnson/Andrews stack?…🤢. But I was already the underdog and at least this way I go down swinging

I’m hoping he comes out of this for a late season push but it seems like the kind of thing — whether it’s mental or the offense is out of synch, whatever it might be — that is tough to change in-season. I’m confident he’s fine long term.

In addition to LaCanfora being the source this is the other reason I don’t buy the rumor. McCaffrey’s contract hit with two consecutive seasons of health concerns makes absolutely no sense for a rebuilding team. 

I moaned and groaned over the summer about the team’s approach to rebuilding - especially passing on Fields at 8. I’m glad to have been wrong so far. We’ll see how McCaffrey’s health holds up, and hopefully Horn heals up well. I’m still not totally sold on Darnold being a long term answer but...
