The purpose of these polls is to get an idea of who the majority of voters prefer at a specific pick in a rookie draft. These drafts assume that all 2018 rookie players are available. For the 2QB poll there may be some variance in scoring. Some may be standard, others PPR. I think a lot of 2QB leagues may involve IDP as well so these differences are not accounted for here. Only looking at the offensive skill players in the two most common formats and also 2QB leagues, to get a sense of where the QB are valued relative to other positions, when there is actually scarcity at the QB position. For the TE premium poll this assumes the scoring format is PPR because that is what these leagues almost always are. The polls assume 12 teams and likely 24-26 roster spots as the most common format for dynasty. Short bench dynasty leagues should only care about the top 6-12 rookie players.

If a player isn't listed that you would vote for please vote other and then post the name of the player that you voted for so that player can be added to the next poll. Also please suggest players not listed that you would vote for soon, even if not on the particular poll that is active.

I am populating the polls based off of miqws list

Discussion welcome.Thanks for voting.

Interesting that Kirk beat out Ridley and Sutton in the TE premium voting, despite being behind not just Ridley, but Sutton as well is the standard and ppr leagues.

Did his getting cleared of charges yesterday earn him a huge bump?  Seems too recent to skew the poll results.

I can't find much discussion on the 1.2 thread. So I hope it's okay to post here...

Why, in PPR, did people ultimately decide Guice? He's a 2 down back vs Penny being coronated the 3 down back?

I have Kirk above both Ridley and Sutton in any format

Yeah I found that interesting as well.

Even though the TE premium poll is PPR the people who are voting in the TE premium polls have different views about some players than the larger group of voters in the PPR poll. Michel won before Jones in the TEP poll while Jones over Michel in the PPR poll.

I did some searching and I guess Matt Harmon and others pumping up Kirk recently, as well as the news of his charges being dropped perhaps bringing more attention to that.

I do think you can make pretty good arguments for five or six of the WR being at the top of what is to me a pretty similar tier of players.

You are right that Guice is likely a 2-down back as long as Chris Thompson is healthy and present, but Penny faces some competition from Carson, and Prosise still looms as a potential 3rd down back.  Moreover, the Seahawks' O-line was historically bad last season.  I am confident Guice will see more redzone opportunities, and that is the difference for me, albeit slight.

I can't speak for anyone else but Guice grades out better than any of the other RB in my charting. I think he is the second best RB.

I have some questions about him as a receiver but I think he can be a 3 down RB. This has been talked about in the Guice thread in greater detail if your interested.

I don't think Penny is as talented as Guice, although I do like Penny as well.

The NFL draft position should perhaps lead to a conclusion that Penny > Guice. Maybe myself and others are trusting what they see of both players too much, and not giving enough weight to the draft position. Only time will tell.

Thanks for the post. Didn't mean to hijack this thread.
No worries these threads are exactly for this kind of discussion. I welcome that and would like see more of that happening in these threads.

New to dynasty this year and have a lot of picks. Trying to wrap my head around this year's class since it has some interesting talent. I appreciate the expertise from you experienced dynasty guys. Very valuable information
In truth myself and others may be outthinking ourselves by going away from the NFL draft position this much.

Guice was the 7th RB selected. So at least six other teams thought the RB they picked was better than Guice. Penny was the 2nd RB selected. That is a pretty big margin.
