Similar squad to mine. Risk at RB2, which isn't too bad.
Until your RB1 is on bye and you're potentially putting up 0-5 points from the RB spot. I don't think it's as big a threat in the WSLs because everyone has numerous 0s on their roster...but it's a big risk with SSL and MBSL.

well, I'm obviously counting on Lynch being a productive rookie RB and I think him and Washington can put up a few points when LJ is on bye.I think I have enough scoring potential at QB, WR, and TE so far to make up for LJ's bye week as long as I don't wind up losing anyone else to a bye or injury that week.

QB: Matt Hasselbeck

RB: LT, Tatum Bell, Corey Dillon, LenDale White

WR: Terrell Owens, Anquan Boldin, Joe Horn

TE: Vernon Davis

Not bad, not bad.

quick question....how many rounds do we draft 18 or 20...lost the link to last years page and could not find the rules.

Right in the basket....

HANK BASKETT that is....

Probably a little early, but I love this guys chance to be a quality receiver this year (provided Stallworth moves on), and somehow I don't think he'll come back around to me if I wait (I'm sure Jeff had him on the radar!)

PM-ing next

Really liking my squad too. Top TE, and a RB with at least the potential to be #1 or #2. Not overly comfortable with my QB's, but at least the two of them should keep their jobs....

Taking some chances at WR, but there's always a bunch of breakout receivers, the trick is picking who will break out......

That's Hank Freaking Baskett, TYVM.He's gonna breakout if he gets the #2 role. Nice pick.

Since we're recapping:

QB: Peyton Manning, Brett Favre

RB: Steven Jackson, Warrick Dunn

WR: Lee Evans, Donte Stallworth, Jerricho Cotchery and Antonio Bryant

TE: Jeremy Shockey

Top 3-5 player at 3 positions (QB, RB and TE) and three #1 WRs (and a 1A in Cotchery).

Favre if he comes back is crazy value, which hopefully smooths out any bumps in Peyton's road to #1.

I'm taking some risk at RB2, but it's a bit early and usually one position on a team is a bit week in a 16-teamer.

didn't want to take a QB here, but you guys kept on taking them, so.......

Charlie Frye QB

i've got Glumpys pick too.

IIRC, the first year we drafted just like any other MB survivor league with only 18 rounds. After that, it was decided to add two rounds to compensate for the bye week unknown factor. I can't remember if this is year 3 or 4. I haven't done a very good job at guessing regarding overlapping bye weeks as my first four picks last year all had the same bye week. :lmao:

This is a good looking squad. Obviously Manning is a stud. Favre is certainly a gamble, and if he doesn't return, there could be trouble on the bye week. If he comes back, you're :lmao:SJax is clearly a star, and will anchor the team along with Manning. I also think it is premature to put Warrick out to pasture, and he should do ok, especially since you have such a stud at RB1.If this team goes down, it will be because of WR. Evans and Stallworth are homerun hitters who just as frequently post 4/31/0. Stallworth makes matters worse by sitting out half of the time. In a regular redraft league, you can afford to take Evans's good with the bad, but I think he's dicey at WR1 in a survivor. I do like Cotchery as WR3. Shockey is another stud.Again, this is a very good team. Jeff's been aided by a good draft position, but has certainly made the most of it so far.

Yeah it was for sure last year.

Probably my favorite pick so far:

9.13 DEVERY HENDERSON, NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Led the league in YPC with a ridiculous 745 yds on 32 catches, adding 5 TD. Ranked #30 in my non-ppr money league, and this was WITH Joe Horn on the roster.

WR Joe Horn says he "absolutely" wants to return to the Saints, but he also says he won't take a pay cut and won't be surprised if he's released. Horn is due $4.45 million next season. He just turned 35 and missed the final six games of the season because of a groin injury.
http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=172196I think he at LEAST matches last year's numbers, which makes him a steal at WR51.

Family Matters selects the following:

9.16: T. Jackson-QB, MINN

10.1: BALT-D/ST

FYI-Balt outscored Chic in this format as well as most others. No reason to think they won't continue do that.
