John Ross caught 3-of-4 targets for 77 yards and a touchdown (?) in the Giants' Week 4 win over the Saints.
With Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Darius Slayton (hamstring) both on the shelf, Ross made his presence felt in his 2021 debut after coming off injured reserve this week. The play of the game was Ross' 52-yard touchdown in the second quarter, which could turn into a scoring headache for fantasy services. Ross, who still has truly blazing speed, got a step on the Saints' entire secondary but fumbled at the goal line, recovering in the end zone to preserve the touchdown. We still are not quite clear how it is going in the books thanks to some box score confusion. It was a huge real life effort for the fifth-year pro, but you don't need us to tell you it's probably not repeatable, especially with Shepard and Slayton due back soon. There is zero reason to take a flier in 12-team leagues.
