Think we now have 4 RBs who have looked decent post-Achilles? Akers, Foreman, Hill & Robinson. Anyone else?
As you referenced on some players you mentioned that play different positions we saw Demaryius Thomas over 10 years ago make ago and Emmanuel Sanders both return to play effectively less then 12 months after achilles surgery.
What was kind of odd, and good, is we just went a long time without many RB's tearing their achilles. One of the few who did was Foster and it was pretty much the end for him but he was also 30 and pretty much near the end anyway. I think, and what I've been saying in threads here since Akers went down, was that people were to quick to assume RB's were done without having much in the way of recent examples were advancements in achilles procedures were no longer the death knell to careers they were once assumed to be. Not that it's not a serious injury that could ruin careers, I just thought people were to quick to assume that was the case.
