When it's all said and done I wouldn't include Leggett or Penix in any 1QB first round, but I get it, you're asking to rank the already drafted rookies. Instead I chose to rank the first round of dynasty 1qb and SF drafts as the NFL draft goes.

Legette will be as big a target hog as Nabers is, and actually wants to be in CAR.

And he's a good WR

And last szn be damned, his QB is way better than Jones.

This is what I’m trying to figure out. I have the 2 in SF TEp and I’m undecided between MHjr, Jayden, Maye and McCarthy. I’d try to trade back but I’m not sure how much anyone would pay now.

Just based on what’s currently drafted, I’m probably looking Turner or Latu at 13. After Jayden, Maye, and McCarthy.

I forgot to put Maye in the list and slotted him in at 1.08 in SF. However, I think McCarthy has jumped him.

I think they’re a toss up.
It seems McCarthy is underrated in many circles based on the noise about the Vikings making a bad pick.

All true, but Nabers is still better.

No doubt, but don't sleep on XL... Remember, he's been deemed the Josh Gordon of the draft (and not cuz of the off field stuff)
To me he's just another Jonathan Mingo. Horrible pick by the Panthers. They would have been better off with McConkey or another position, namely OL to protect Young.

2 is a tough spot, I was fortunate to end up with 1 so luckily don't have to agonize over it. Personally would narrow it down to MHJ or Jayden. Pick could depend on team need and also whether feel like going w/ the more sure thing in MHJ or rolling the dice a bit on a QB.

1 QB:

1. MHJ

4. Bowers
5. Williams
6. Worthy
7. McConkey

10. Corum

QBs...

I'm sitting at 1.04 in a league and planned to go Bowers pre draft. I thought Thomas could be 1.04 if he landed in a good spot. Ultimately I'm not loving anything in tier 3. I may try to move up or out. Push comes to shove I'm probably taking Bowers.

I will limit this to the players drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft.

1QB Leagues

Marvin Harrison Jr. | WR | ARI – No surprise
Malik Nabers | WR | NYG – Clear path to WR1, but hard to get too excited about the Giants’ offense
Rome Odunze | WR | CHI – Long-term, I love this, but there are a lot of mouths to feed in Chicago
Brock Bowers | TE | LV – Who is throwing the ball to him?
Brian Thomas Jr. | WR | JAC – Nice path to WR1
Xavier Worthy | WR | KC – Great fit, but I wonder if he will get the volume some are predicting
Caleb Williams | QB | CHI – Chicago has struggled to develop QB talent, but seems a great fit
Ricky Pearsall | WR | SF – Is this a sign that the Niners are moving one of their veteran WRs?
Xavier Legette | WR | CAR – Nice path to WR1 with young QB
Jayden Daniels | QB | WAS – Solid receiving options plus added dimension of rushing
Drake Maye | QB | NE – The Patriots need a serious upgrade at WR now
J.J. McCarthy | QB | MIN – Perfect landing spot
Michael Penix Jr. | QB | ATL – Love his talent and the weapons around him, but how long does he sit and play understudy to Cousins?
Bo Nix | QB | DEN – This was always the dream destination for Nix, IMO

I’m picking 1.04 in one league. Was thinking Bowers but now 🤮 🤷‍♂️

In another league I’m picking 1.05/1.06. Thinking Caleb with one of them since I’m rolling out R.Wilson/M.Stafford atm. Then probably Thomas with the other 🤷‍♂️

The league I am ranking this for doesn’t tend to value QBs in the top 10, so I have the QBs after, although this year is maybe a consideration.

I am obviously lower on worthy than most. No apologies. I don’t like his game. The only reason he is at 9 is where he landed.

All those possible rb openings (Dal, NYG, Min, LV, Ten) and the top 4 rb picks go elsewhere. Although Carolina is a decent spot due to weak competition. Have to wait a minute at least to get excited for Benson, Corum, Lloyd.

interesting you guys still got Bowers at 4, was hoping his landing spot compared to some WRs would knock him back a little

I've always viewed him more as a receiver and think he'll be a target machine in LV. Love the landing spot. Standard or PPR, he's still in my top 4 easy.

Bowers is easily a top-4 pick in rookie drafts for me, especially prem-TE. The only way he falls, and I'm hoping for this, is for someone to reach for Worthy, Thomas Jr, or other (not likely).

Round 5 of the NFL Draft just began, but here are my early rankings for Start One QB Leagues

ROUND ONE
1.01 Marvin Harrison Jr. | WR | Rd. 1 | ARI – No surprise
1.02 Malik Nabers | WR | Rd. 1 | NYG – Clear path to WR1, but hard to get too excited about the Giants’ offense
1.03 Rome Odunze | WR | Rd. 1 | CHI – Long-term, I love this, but there are a lot of mouths to feed in Chicago
1.04 Brock Bowers | TE | Rd. 1 | LV – Who is throwing the ball to him?
1.05 Brian Thomas Jr. | WR | Rd. 1 | JAC – Nice path to WR1
1.06 Ladd McConkey | WR | Rd. 2 | LAC – McConkey could quickly emerge as the top receiving option for Justin Herbert
1.07 Xavier Worthy | WR | Rd. 1 | KC – Great fit for the Chiefs, but I wonder if he will get the volume some are predicting
1.08 Caleb Williams | QB | Rd. 1 | CHI – Chicago has struggled developing QB talent, but this seems a great fit
1.09 Keon Coleman | WR | Rd. 2 | BUF – I like the fit in Buffalo, and he could be a valuable red-zone threat
1.10 Jonathon Brooks | RB | Rd. 2 | CAR – Coming off of injury, it may take some time for Brooks to emerge as the Panthers’ top back, but he is the top talent in their RB stable
1.11 Trey Benson | RB | Rd. 3 | ARI – Projects as an eventual 3-down back, but he will begin in a reserve role behind Conner
1.12 Blake Corum | RB | Rd. 3 | LAR – There was no depth behind Kyren Williams, and Corum could push Williams early

ROUND TWO
2.01 Ricky Pearsall | WR | Rd. 1 | SF – Is this a sign that the Niners are going to move one of their veterans? As it stands now, there are a lot of mouths to feed in SF
2.02 Xavier Legette | WR | Rd. 1 | CAR – Nice path to WR1 with young QB
2.03 Adonai Mitchell | WR | Rd. 2 | IND – I don’t love the destination for AD, but I believe in his talent
2.04 Troy Franklin | WR | Rd. 4 | DEN – Perfect destination in Denver where he is reunited with Nix
2.05 Jayden Daniels | QB | Rd. 1 | WAS – Solid receiving options plus added dimension of rushing
2.06 J.J. McCarthy | QB | Rd. 1 | MIN – Perfect landing spot for this young, talented signal caller
2.07 Drake Maye | QB | NE – The Patriots should make it a priority to surround Maye with some talent; love the player, hate the supporting cast
2.08 Roman Wilson | WR | Rd. 3 | PIT – Ideal fit for the Steelers
2.09 Ja’Lynn Polk | WR | Rd. 2 | NE – There will be some growing pains in NE, but Polk could emerge as the team’s top WR
2.10 Jaylen Wright | RB | Rd. 4 | MIA – His speed fits what Miami likes to do
2.11 MarShawn Lloyd | RB | Rd. 3 | GB – Disappointing draft destination
2.12 Michael Penix Jr. | QB | Rd. 1 | ATL – Love the talent, love the weapons around him, but how long does he sit and learn from Cousins?

ROUND THREE
3.01 Bo Nix | QB | Rd. 1 | DEN – This was always the dream destination for Nix, IMO
3.02 Malachi Corley | WR | Rd. 3 | NYJ – Aging QB, deep WR corps
3.03 Jermaine Burton | WR | Rd. 3 | CIN – Deep receiver room, but hopefully this challenges (and humbles) Burton
3.04 Luke McCaffrey | WR | Rd. 3 | WAS – McCaffrey has been one of my mid-round targets
3.05 Javon Baker | WR | Rd. 4 | NE – Baker fills a void for the Pats
3.06 Ray Davis | RB | Rd. 4 | Buf – Fits as a short-yardage back alongside Cook
3.07 Isaac Guerendo | RB | Rd. 4 | SF – He is exactly the type of back the Niners excel at finding and developing
3.08 Jalen McMillan | WR | Rd. 3 | TB – Aging receiving corps, so opportunity for the future
3.09 Bucky Irving | RB | Rd. 4 | TB – May have to earn his keep initially returning kicks, but Irving gives the Bucs some depth at RB
3.10 Will Shipley | RB | Rd. 4 | Phi – Adds depth, but similar skills to to Gainwell
3.11 Ben Sinnott | TE | Rd. 2 | WAS – Lunch pail guy who should quickly earn a role
3.12 Ja’Tavion Sanders | TE | Rd. 4 | CAR – I like what Carolina is working toward, but expect some growing pains still

ROUND FOUR
4.01 Theo Johnson | TE | Rd. 4 | NYG – He has been one of my favorite Tight Ends in the pre-draft process, and I love the fit here
4.02 Devontez Walker | WR | Rd. 4 | BAL – uggh, crowded WR room on a run-first team
4.03 Braelon Allen | RB | Rd. 4 | NYJ – Nothing more than a depth piece
4.04 Audric Estime | RB | Rd. __ | ____ –
4.05 Brenden Rice | WR | Rd. __ | ____ –
4.06 Tyrone Tracy, Jr. | RB | Rd. __ | ____ –
4.07 Dylan Laube | RB | Rd. __ | ____ –
4.08 Malik Washington | WR | Rd. __ | ____ –
4.09 Johnny Wilson | WR | Rd. __ | ____ –
4.10 Jacob Cowing | WR | Rd. 4 | SF – May be relegated to a role on ST
4.11 Erick All | TE | Rd. 4 | CIN – Plenty of potential if he can shake the injury bug
4.12 Jared Wiley | TE | Rd. 4 | KC – Intriguing developmental TE
