I should mention, I did have a dream a couple months ago, (this was when the Raiders were in total freefall with all their drama, and a major longshot to even be in the playoffs), that the Raiders defeated the Packers in the Super Bowl.

Raider fan here so beware of my incredible optimism.

AFC:
2. Chiefs vs. 7. Steelers
3. Bills vs. 6. Patriots
4. Bengals vs. 5. Raiders

NFC:
2. Buccaneers vs. 7. Eagles
3. Cowboys vs. 6. 49ers
4. Rams vs. 5. Cardinals

Week 2:

AFC:
1. Titans vs Raiders
2. Chiefs vs Bills

Titans just have a tendency to fall flat in big games. With the momentum from the big game and “do it for Madden” feeling that must be echoing in the locker room, I just got a feeling the Raiders pull it off. Bills match up well with the Chiefs and I get the sense they pull it together. KC really doesn’t look the same and they will go home early.

NFC:
1. Packers vs. Cards
2. Buccaneers vs. Cowboys

Cards have barely enough to pass the Rams but don’t have a chance against the Pack. Talent is not an issue with the Boys. They have it up and down the lineup. Poor coaching decisions and some inexplicable poor play at the worst possible times in games have been their downfall but if those things can be avoided, they can take the fading Bucs.

Conference Championships

AFC: Bills vs Raiders

NFC: Packers vs  Cowboys

As much as I’d love to have the Raiders advance, guts and moxie only get you so far. Bills are too talented. I am tempted to take the Cowboys but figure Rodgers will pull this one out for the Pack at the end of the game.

Super Bowl: Bills

It is finally time. After four heartbreaking losses back in the day, the wagons get circled and the Bills win it all.

interesting tidbits from NFLN and  ActionNetwork.

since 2003 Bellichick is 8-0 ATS ( 99.3% ROI) as a road dog coming off a loss.  This is why this game might be the upset special of the week. Pats are circling the wagons. an injured female bear with cubs. whatever one liner you can throw at it, I would not want to be the Bills this weekend. supposed to be frigid cold, do they have the run game to pound NEs defense if the passing game flounders? highly doubtful.

The Niners and Cowboys have met 7 times in postseason, the winner has gone on to win the SB 5 out of those 7 times, including the last 4 times in a row. Niners look like the hot team, Dallas looks like they're a mirage.

Kligsbury is 13-2-1 ATS as a road dog. they're getting 4.5? maybe they lose, but cover?

How many times was his qb the goat in those games?

Not to say that Pats can't win. Of course Bill can guide them to an upset, just saying slow your roll on the 8-0 in these spots stat.

Nailed Round 1 and like my picks going in to this weekend.  That KC-BUF game should be great.

I’m picking all of the favorites this weekend but can come up with a dozen reasons why any of the underdogs could win. In my heart, though, I want Buffalo and the Rams to both pull off upsets.

I think Rams Bucs is a coin flip as well as Chiefs Bills. I like the Bengals to beat the Titans for my upset pick.

I was 5/6 for WC round and had Rams winning in Lambeau in round 2 but Niners spoiled that. Now Rams will have to win in Tampa and I think they can but it really is a coin flip in my mind. I think GB holds serve against the Niners though. Jimmy G will have to play his best game ever to win.

I am really looking forward to each and every one of these games. Really good matchups. And the Return of the King.

😳

I turned off the KC/cincy game way too early to, of all things, spend time with my youngest son outside on a glorious day. But man are these the best 6 games we’ve seen, ever?
