***OFFICIAL*** Survivor 31 -Second Chances. (1 Viewer)

Best season in several years. Ultimate blindside. Love it.
That was neither a blindside or a big move made by anyone - unless you call playing an idol a big move. She had no choice. Definitely not a blindside which I feel is via votes vs. circumstance (idol being played). That was just bad luck for Savage.
What do you call it when you walk in to tribal confident that you are "running the show" and walk out to your exit interview with your torch snuffed?.
A blindside is when the people you're working with vote you out without you knowing. Here, there were two factions and Savage's side lost. So no, that's not a blindside.

That may be your definition, but Merriam-Webster disagrees:

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/blindside

blindsideverb blind·side \ˈblīn(d)-ˌsīd\
: to hit (someone who is facing in another direction) suddenly and very hard

: to surprise or shock (someone) in a very unpleasant way

A blindside on Survivor is when there's a fake consensus to vote one person out and a secret agreement to actually vote another person out. This week was not a blindside.

I agree and I, for one, am ashamed to have used the word blindside in one of my posts. I typed out of haste and didnt think things through. The rest of my post stands for the fact that I hope nothing good comes to Ciera in the future of this game.

More punchable...but I would do her. Don`t think I could achieve an erection with Kass..even on Viagra.

How the hell do returning players, with 9-3 numbers, NOT split the vote? ??? Idiots
LOL, especially when they talked about nobody looking for idols, i.e. that means somebody has them. Such a huge advantage in numbers and knowing idols had to be out there somewhere.
Well, we don't know that nobody talked about looking for idols after they moved at the merge. Production could have been planting clues to challenge idols every week so far, and people could have been hunting for them regularly. Maybe it just wasn't part of the final cut of the show as it aired.
I was talking about the discussion the bulk of the tribe had that was on the show. They specifically mentioned that nobody was looking for idols. I just found it humorous that they didn't split the vote even though they said no one had been looking. I didn't watch the deleted scene, but still surprised they didn't split. All it means last week is that Kass didn't have an idol. I assume in the cut scenes Kelley probably found out it was her and not Ciera on the chopping block (Joe might have said it to her).

I don't always agree with a split, it allows for fewer people to change the outcome for a risk that hardly ever materializes. Sure Savage got screwed this time around, but if you're sitting in that alliance, its actually fairly good for you. Sure you lost a number but you're still up 8-3 and now they've burned an idol. Plus, everyone toed the line and voted according to plan.
I agree with this. Maybe (and I say that knowing it probably wasn't the case) Jeremy and Stephen knew that the 3's dislike of Savage meant he would go home and Jeremy knew Savage was tight with Joe. That said, I don't think they thought that deep.

That said, I love the victory dances by the 3 girls even though they are still down 8-3 and now with that move they have absolutely put themselves as the first to go. Kass' reactions were priceless. She probably still thinks she's the best player in the game.

Im surprised at how much people are hung up on this. They got one over on the 10 people that voted for her and they were happy. I doubt they suddenly think they are in the driver's seat. Of course, we all know how quickly things can change on Survivor. They arent a sure bet to go anywhere right now.

I don't get hung up on it. I find it funny that they act like that knowing the people with the numbers are watching them. Everyone saw Abi make the snide comment to Savage. She and Ciera are not people I would come close to trusting in my alliance. They'd flop for reasons that aren't even strategic as we've seen so far and they piss enough people off that all of sudden if you are tied to them you are now outside of the majority. I know the show people love this as it makes the game less predictable to have people like that on the show, but it still makes me laugh when people act like that and don't realize it hurts them, especially when all you did was go from down 9-3 to down 8-3.

I'll disagree with you on the last line. Yes, there is no way to say with 100% confidence that they are gone next, but they are absolutely the surest bets to go next.

She and Ciera are not people I would come close to trusting in my alliance.
Why wouldn't you trust the girl who voted her own mother out of the game?
Yep, and just the way they get so emotional. Abi has ping ponged all over the place. Last week it looked like Ciera and Kass were fine and part of the majority and then some stupid arguments later they are on the bottom and one is gone.

Aww Savage and Kass are booze-swilling besties over at Ponderosa. Now they both think they'll "run" the jury. Lawyers.

glad the toolbag lawyer is gone
How is he a toolbag? Seems like a good dude to me.
I liked Savage at first, but it seems like he was more humble & likable when he thought he was in danger. once he joined up with a group and got some power, he became a bit more of a smarmy turd.

I think he's probably an okay guy, just a bit cocky for his own good.

Probst must have also missed the memo.

This is like trying to argue that every time a football player gets his feet to touch down on the field, he should get 6 points.

Clearly not a Survivor blindside :)

He sure was blindsided by the fact that 3 girls thought he was the best option to vote out aside from Joe.

Was that blindside? Interesting how this will work, 3 boys, 3 "witches" and then joe/Tasha/keith and the other chick with keith being utterly confused....

Really surprised Stephens name didn't come up. The second the "game advantage" was won by him I thought for sure they'd target him.. I would have.. THAT would have been a great blindside as his diving off told you he feels safe right now.

I have no issue with voting out Wigglesworth, other than that it leaves Ciera still in the game. Unfortunately, I feel like she is going to be around for a while. Yuck!

Be a part of a "voting block" of 8 or 6? Seems like an easy decision for the three guys especially for Jeremy. If the six stay together, which is unlikely, his two idols get him into the final 4, if not at least the final 5. Can't ask for much more than that with ten people left.

Reward was a spa meal, shower and massage. Wigglesworth sent packing. Rained a lot, everyone shivered. Probst called people by their last names.

Wind storm knocked out my cable...anyone with a quick summary of tonight?
Everyone gave Wentworth props. Fishback immediately wants to play with them and targets Wiggles. Joe's team won the reward challenge (of course). Joe won immunity (of course). Jeff gave an advantage in the game to the first person to swim to a buoy, and somehow Fishback outswam Spencer to get it. They tried to split the votes, and Jeremy even mentioned that he didn't really want to do it because he'd be blindsiding a bunch of people in his own alliance, but he did it anyway. Jeremy found the other HII and now has both of them. Joe, Kimmi, and Tasha looked shocked at the vote. Keith spit. Everyone was cold.

Also Fishback made a gay pass at Spencer and it seemed like Spencer considered it for a second but then looked right at the camera and turned beet red. Later they were seen swimming together.

Kimmi stabbed Abi to death with a fishing spear, not sure why. Something about the island not being big enough for two women with names that end with the letter i. Pretty hardcore imo.

:lmao: You should write official synopses.

Probst called people by their last names.
:lmao: Except Jeremy, Spencer and Joe, right? I've never heard their last names.
Oh Jeremy found an idol clue and now has two idols. He cried because he wants to win the money for his wife and kids. Inexplicably didn't play either idol in a game with almost weekly blindsides.
Wow. Huge.

:lmao: :lmao: This would all be Survivor ratings gold.

:lmao: @ Abi not getting picked for the reward challenge.
This is a good thing? I was looking forward to more of this: http://survivorsucks.com/topic/124045/Abi-is-hot-af-this-season?page=3#.Vk1kPHarSUk
I thought it was funny they picked teams with an odd number, guaranteeing that crappy result for someone. And it was funny it was Abi since she's insane and they all hate her.
Yeah, I thought she was going to go postal on those she went back to camp with. Maybe she's turning a corner.
