Are the Steelers actually the worst in this area right now?

As the Pats found out today, you have to have someone to open the field up for role players. Throw a bunch of complementary #2s and #3s out there without a straw to stir the drink and you get nothing.

The Steelers offense was going to bad this year anyway, but losing Pouncey probably tips it to terrible.

Gronk will be back and they'll have a good enough crew; but they're certainly a fragile bunch.

Half the starters you named didn't suit up today. The two that did looked fine.

Redman was ###, and losing Pouncey had to suck. They're middle of the pack based on the stuff you listed, though, if you really wanted a legit answer and not just to take a jab at Steeler fans. Which, of course, this would be a good time to do.

Not trying to take jab at Steelers fans. When healthy they're still in the bottom IMHO. The RBs are right at the bottom until the rookie answers some questions. The WRs are way down too. Miller is clearly above average, but not near elite. When you add it up; they just dont have much at these skill positions if/until rookies emerge. This sort of crept up on me somehow...

Could you point out at least ten of the teams they're better than at the WR/RB/TE positions, to be in the "middle of the pack"?

Jets and Miami are definitely up there. With Gronk out I think New England has to be included. San Diego too.

Disagree on Oakland and Tennessee. I actually think those units have talent.

Teams really weak at WR but that are saved by the RB and/or TE are Minnesota, Cleveland, Buffalo, and Philadelphia.
