First off, the new Marty comes out this Friday and it's got Leo, Bobby and is getting masterpiece level reviews.

Trailer

So maybe we should discuss this one, with his age, it could be his last.

Rank your top 5-10 Scorsese movies

Let's just celebrate one of the true masters of the art form and get hyped for what is possible the best movie of the year.

This is all things Scorsese.

Based on an incredible book of the same name if you are a reader.

And Marty has already signed on to do his most recent book. THE WAGER. Which is also incredible.

So hopefully it won’t be his last as I have really high hopes for this one. Supposed to be highly praised from everyone who has already seen it.

Yep, he wants to and is planning making more movies but at 80 nothing can be taken for granted. It is insane that Mean Streets came out 50 years ago Saturday. I'll say it, he's the best director, most important director and most significant figure in movies period of our lifetimes. It is truly astounding.

Son a ***** it's the wrong forum.

Departed
Gangs of New York
Raging Bull
Good Fellas
Casino
Shutter Island
Taxi Driver
Color of Money
Aviator
Wolf of Wall Street
Cape Fear

I saw a TV ad for this film that touted it was from "the maker of The Wolf of Wall Street'."

Ummm....you mean Martin Scorcese?

It would be like releasing a new Rolling Stones album and promoting it as being from "the band that recorded Tattoo You"

Agree just say Scorsese

Got to make sure everyone knows when a new Leo-Marty classic drops

Good Fellas is my number one but The Last Waltz is a close second. It seems even more important after Robbie Robertson's recent death and it was to some degree an inspiration for This Is Spinal Tap. And if you like nonfiction, Killers of the Flower Moon is well worth the read.

Shout out to one of his more underrated, but in my opinion excellent, lesser known films.

Bringing out the Dead.

Nobody ever seems to have seen or even heard of it. It's superb, hilarious, tragic. Nick Cage at his best. Amazing supporting role by Ving Rhames as well.

So many of these movies I take for granted, but if I stumble upon them clicking around I find that I don't leave them and my butt is stuck on the couch for 2-3 hours.

Have you read THE WAGER?

Does Bob DeNiro have another season in him? He's got a lot of touches in his career, at some point there's no more tread left, right?

Should I start Leo? He hasn't done much to date this season, but the man has to be due, right? Desperate with byes this week.

TIA, will answer yours.

Think he has at most 2 years left in Dynasty, probably not worth much more than a late round flier in redraft.

He has nothing left to prove. He's won it all several times, top 5 all time for sure.
He could hang up the cleats with no regrets imop.
But even at his age he still produces....and directs....and acts.

I'm a big gangster genre movie guy. I know everybody disagrees, but I thought The Irishman was just okay. When u have to use CGI on its two biggest stars that means it's nearly about time they cant play those roles. I get it. You got cute and they were playing younger versions of themselves. Cute. Luv u Dinero, but 80 is juuuuust about done for me. Ha ha

There was one CGI scene that was rough and the deaging isn’t always perfect but it’s an incredible movie imo.
