I've meet Jack Bruce a couple times, just one of the nicest and most gracious persons ever. I heard he hadn't been doing well for a while. Sucks. Truly one of the best, if not the best bass player ever. I'm frankly surprised Ginger Baker has outlasted him.

2012 got to see him in Italy at Umbria Jazz Fest. he played with vernon reid and carlos santana's wife. put on a great show and seemed energetic. did cream stuff and originals. bruce seemed The polar opposite of Baker imo. damn

Get a hold of the Cream reunion DVD from 2005 and wallow in the genius that was Cream. Bruce wrote most of the band's songs, including the tour de force White Room.
