well shoot... been busy with work all week; just catching up with non-work stuff now. Didn't even realize the BAL v PIT game wouldn't count toward week 12's point total.

Stupid 2020!!!
both games count in week 13 though - assuming 2 games of Roethlisberger is more than what Carr or Goff get it'll still work out to your advantage - though less so that for other teams with him probably.

True; but watch Big Ben go for like 400/4/0 tomorrow night, poop the bed next week and Goff/ Carr light it up in week 13.

And for the record, I'm not upset at all. It's 2020 & weird stuff gonna happen. Just gotta take it in stride.

Hell, I'm just happy to have made it this far. Good luck to everyone else still alive!

Hey Folks. Thanks for understanding and rolling with us here. We were worried about something weird happening during the season so were hyper clear on the rules. I know it's odd but we felt we had no choice but to stick exactly to the rules.

2020. Dang.
Hey Joe, Can we have all weeks put back on our entry? It seems after we've been eliminated it's been removed along with the "Covid rules" message.

For instance, myself & QuizGuy were eliminated but we still follow along.

Hi Bruce, that's a Doug thing but I don't think it's possible the way we organize it. Sorry. I agree it could be cool.

BAL/PIT player scores to start week 13

QB Roethlisberger (77 owners) = 18.20 - So much for the guy who was supposed to be a finals cheat code.
K Boswell (75 owners) = 7.00 - 2 chip shots and an extra point is all he could muster from this low scoring game.
TE Ebron (72 owners) = 15.90 - Not a monster score, but if he can repeat this, week 13 will be looking very good.
RB Conner (60 owners) = 0.00 - Brutal start to your finals for an expensive RB.  Only 5 other RB's more common.
WR Claypool (36 owners) = 11.20 - Nothing to write home about, but double it and we can start talking.
WR Johnson (36 owners) = 12.60 - 13 targets, 12 points.  Which PIT WR will get the most love vs WAS?
WR Brown (34 owners) = 18.50 - Marquise scored more pts on 1 catch than any other BAL player all game.
RB Snell (32 owners) = 10.80 - If Conner misses "the other week 13 game", Snell and his $4 could come up big.
RB Dobbins (31 owners) = 0.00 - Last I read he was eligible to play, but BAL chose to keep him shelved.  I dunno.
TD BAL D (25 owners) = 4.00 - You need more than 4 when spending top dollar on a defense.  DAL is on deck.
TD PIT D (22 owners) = 13.00 - 22 happy owners hoping to combine this with another good game vs WAS.
WR Smith-Schuster (16 owners) = 17.70 - 8 for 37 sounds more like rushing stats, doesn't it?  The 1 yard TD helped.
K Tucker (16 owners) = 2.00 - Double these points and you still have a crappy kicker score.
TE Andrews (15 owners) = 0.00 - 3rd most expensive TE; only hope for points may be week 14 finale vs CLE.
RB Ingram (7 owners) = 0.00 - Only 13 fantasy points since week 4, remaining teams learned to live without him.
WR Boykin (6 owners) = 0.00 - Cheap & rare WR.  Nothing to see here.  He did reach 10 pts in week 8 though.
TE Boyle (4 owners) = 0.00 - His 8.89% survival rate blows away all other TE's (5.26% is 2nd place).
RB McFarland (4 owners) = 3.10 - His awesome score brings his weekly average to just over 1 point.
RB Samuels (4 owners) = 0.00 - Jaylen almost scored a whole point in week 2... almost.
WR Washington (4 owners) = 3.90 - Tough to make an impact with so many other targets in PIT.
QB Jackson (3 owners) = 0.00 - Pricing him for next year's contest is gonna be quite hard.
WR Snead (3 owners) = 0.00 - Can't expect much from a $3 WR, but he has topped 15 points 3 times.
TE McDonald (2 owners) = 0.00 - The 2 owners are currently in 3rd and 17th place.
RB Hill (0 owners) = 5.00 - Extinct player goes wild for 5 points.  Ain't that always the case?

To summarize, the ONLY Ravens player who may benefit with a double-duty in week 13 is Marquise Brown.  The next highest BAL score came from an extinct player.  Big Ben scored a dismal 18 points on 51 pass attempts, putting him in good company with Andy Dalton as the only QB's to throw 50+ times and score under 20.  No monster games from any PIT player, but shockingly 7 players scored in double digits.

To be clear, this is a recent change in the past few days... previously it did continue to show all scores for a team even after we were eliminated.

Ideally it would just be backing out whatever code change has suddenly removed those scores.

Another thing we lost is the contest querier.  The only way I can get to it now is to open up the week 12 standings, then change the "12" in the address bar to "11".

More fun facts...

- This year, teams of 23 or more survived at 3X the rate of 18-man rosters
18 - 38/2992 = 1.27%
19 - 23/1381 = 1.67%
20 - 29/1193 = 2.43%
21 - 27/943 = 2.86%
22 - 27/882 = 3.06%
23 - 27/732 = 3.69%
24 - 19/555 = 3.42%
25 - 14/412 = 3.40%
26 - 14/332 = 4.22%
27 - 13/266 = 4.89%
28 - 8/171 = 4.68%
29 - 3/141 = 2.13%
30 - 10/226 = 4.42%

- The only team that rostered all 6 of the $2 kickers and all 9 of the $2 defenses is not only still alive, but is currently in 13th place with 209.45 after 1 week of finals (and 1 of only 7 teams getting double points in week 13 from Roethlisberger, Claypool, and Ebron).

Matt Gay ($5) is the only kicker over $3 to lose his job this year.  In fact, he was waived by the Buccaneers 5 days before the contest even opened.  That didn't stop 175 people from selecting him.  So, how are those 175 entries doing now?  As expected, they started dropping like flies early on, and by week 5 were already down to 28.  16 perished the next 2 weeks, then 10 more died weeks 8 thru 11.  Gay entered the finals as the least common kicker, tied with Rohrwasser, with only 2 owners.  And what about those 2 still alive?
https://subscribers.footballguys.com/contest/2020/101591.php - currently in 1st place
https://subscribers.footballguys.com/contest/2020/109766.php - would have been booted in week 11 without Gay

Ugh I hope that doesn't break calcomatic :(

I wouldn't say the "weird" rule about PIT / BAL players double dipping this week is going to break calcomatic - rather it will make calcomatic inaccurate for this week.  OTOH, that might be the same as breaking calcomatic because calcomatic is all about providing real-time results.  Whatever - it is what it is.  I'll square everything after this week's games conclude and we should be accurate for the week 14 finals (unless any week 13 games are pushed to Wednesday).

Other than that, Calcomatic ready to go for week 13.

BAL/PIT player scores to start week 13

QB Roethlisberger (77 owners) = 18.20 + 26.25 = 44.45
K Boswell (75 owners) = 7.00 - Missed game 2 vs WAS
TE Ebron (72 owners) = 15.90 + 17.30 = 33.20
WR Claypool (36 owners) = 11.20 + 5.80 = 17.00
WR Johnson (36 owners) = 12.60 + 21.10 = 33.70
WR Brown (34 owners) = 18.50 + 14.90 = 33.40
RB Snell (32 owners) = 10.80 + 2.00 = 12.80
RB Dobbins (31 owners) = 0.00 + 13.10 = 13.10
TD BAL D (25 owners) = 4.00 + 3.00 = 7.00
TD PIT D (22 owners) = 13.00 + 3.00 = 16.00
WR Smith-Schuster (16 owners) = 17.70 + 9.80 = 27.50
K Tucker (16 owners) = 2.00 + 10.50 = 12.50
RB Ingram (7 owners) = 0.00 + 3.40 = 3.40
WR Boykin (6 owners) = 0.00 + 10.80 = 10.80
RB McFarland (4 owners) = 3.10 + 1.50 = 4.60
RB Samuels (4 owners) = 0.00 + 2.70 = 2.70
WR Washington (4 owners) = 3.90 + 16.00 = 19.90
QB Jackson (3 owners) = 0.00 + 31.75 = 31.75
Updated to include both games.  I removed any player who failed to score any points in either game, and also removed Justice Hill, as he is extinct.

Weeks 12 & 13 were my team's best two weeks of the season (thanks to D Henry, Gibson, Waller, Corey Davis, and some others), and I am just 2.55 points short of being in second place.

Unfortunately, those 2.55 points would have to come in week 8 when I was eliminated.

At 429.5, I must have one of the strongest ghost teams around.

I would’ve taken Gibson’s points from the previous week for sure with no Edwards-Helaire or Jacobs either.  I only had one RB score points last week and that was Dalvin and he’s seen a drop off as well. He should’ve been the strength of my team since not many others have him.

injuries suck. There’s probably about 10k people ready to cry me a river though.

Regarding the upcoming playoff contest - can a league (or whatever) be setup for the NFL playoffs at MFL?  Without that, we don't have a data source for NFL stats, and without real-time data Calcomatic is pretty worthless.

@Alberta Clipper setup the MFL site for NFL stats so including him to see if he knows/can set it up.

Finally got around to calcing the Ghost Team.

Would be at 360.00 on the nose - which would be 65th place.  (Largely on the back of Waller 59390.30 effort.

It also has like a million injured running backs no - still not as many as my 1 finalist team though.

Good luck to those finishing in the money.  Anybody got a shot at the Bryant Bounty?

Late breaking news affecting a few of the finalists.

7 Austin Seibert owners celebrate - he is active for the Bengals!

10 Randy Bullock owners be sad (okay sadder) - he is inactive.

1 Seibert/Bullock owner not included above carry on nothing to see here.

Now if they could just make it into FG range without coughing up the ball...

It is GB!!  :excited:

After all of these years, finally made the cut and have a chance at finishing in the money.   Just shows you how screwed up 2020 really is. ;)
Awesome.  Currently 7th 17 points back with Hunt - 6.  You're inside of 2 of 6th and he has Hunt - 8 so you should jump him.

Top 7 all have players left.  Prizes will range from $300 to $20,000.  A lot riding on Chubb, Hunt, Brown, and Tucker.

Entering the final week...

103462 - @Raging weasel - 186.75 + 207.70 = 394.45 = 18th place

100246 - @gobrowns33 - 143.35 + 224.05 = 367.40 = 53rd place

103205 - @4th&inches - 130.45 + 194.95 = 325.40 = 147th place

Best of luck on strong finishes, folks!

Any chance you guys know how to figure out what place I'd be in had I not got eliminated in week 9?  I've been putting up some huge w12-14 points.

alas I use Quizzomatic to calc my scores.  best guess at a shortcut would be to search the contest querier to find live entries that have your players and crib the scores off of them along with calcomatic

That's a lot of work lol.

I think I would be in the top 10 right now though :(

I knew I shoulda drafted more K!  Clearly that was to blame for my contest fail.  :sadbanana:

Ghost team cratered the last week - in part due to injuries but also lame performance.

Final total 495.00 on the nose.

Good luck those in line for the big $$$ tonight!

So the guy who finished 2nd Rostered:

FOUR QB's (Trubisky, Mahomes, Wilson, Brady)... Trubisky was the one that counted for him this week and got 2nd.

Only FOUR RBs (Henry, Hunt, Carson, Peterson)

Only THREE WRs (Diggs, Hill, Lockett)

2 TE (Ebron, Henry)

3 D and 3 K.

This accurate?  Wow if so.

Sweetening the pot a little here for Shark Pool posters.

Prize payout structure is sweet:

If you post your lineup here by noon ET Wednesday, and don't change it before lock,

I'll add a $100 price to whatever you win and a lifetime Football subscription

IF you finish in the top 100.

Thanks to @SeniorVBDStudent for the clarity.

@Joe Bryant  Is this what you wanted?

Ghost team would have broken my heart as it would have been 109th and just out of FBG promised land.  Thanks again to Joe Bryant, The Turk, and everyone at FBG for this great contest :excited:
