Fantasy Football Fest, the industry’s first consumer show that includes everything a football fan wants including celebrity autograph signings, expert seminars, video game tournaments, and beer, will also have some REAL fantasy leagues drafting LIVE at the Atlantic City Convention Center on Saturday August 18 and Sunday August 19.

The money leagues run by the NFFC will be both the popular 14 team Draft Champions Leagues as well as the NFFC 12 team leagues that pay the top three teams.

The Draft Champion leagues are all $150 entries that feature the draft and hold thirty man rosters where there are no free agents during the year or need to set lineups each week as your score is automatically optimized from all the players on your roster. First place in total points for the sixteen week season receives $950, while 2nd place is $300 and 3rd is $150. In addition all the teams in these Fan Fest leagues are included in overall awards for the NFFC’s summer DC leagues.

The traditional twelve team H2H leagues have different entry points from $150 to $1000 and thus first place winners would get $800 for 1st place, $275 for 2nd, and $75 for 3rd in the $150 leagues all the way up to $5200 for 1st place, $2000 for 2nd, and $400 for 3rd in the $1000 leagues.

The Fantasy Football Fest is being produced by ReedPOP, the same group that puts on New York Comic Con, Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, the Penny Arcade Expo and several other unique shows.

They have already announced many current and former NFL starts who will attend the Atlantic City show including Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy of the Philadelphia Eagles, and HOFers Bruce Smith and Chris Doleman.

The two day show in 300,000 square feet of the convention center will also have several panel discussions and Q&A sessions presented by RotoExperts one of the founding sponsors of the show. Consumers can buy tickets for either Saturday or Sunday, or a weekend pass good for both days by going to http://www.fantasyfootballfest.com/ . As a bonus, children under ten get in free with a paid adult. The show has something for every football fan with sports video game tournaments, interactive athletic competitions, a sports memorabilia show, athlete and celebrity appearances and even a tailgate party and beer tasting.

50/50 on this...the wife&I usually hit AC once/yr for outlets, show&a little roulette

1 month removed from beach week might be a tough sell, but it sure sounds like fun! :banned:

should be a great day and if you can get in one of the $150 DraftMaster leagues you can win money in your league with a shot at the brass ring - a $10K check to the overall winner!

Has anyone signed up for these leagues yet?

Or going to the Fest but need a partner for one of the leagues there?
