Ozigbo vs Minnesota 2018
(big run at :48) gets the edge on some really bad contain by the play side safety and manages to outrun the other safety to the endzone. Pretty good speed here, but he had a big head start.
(big run at 1:38) another long TD off the edge where he makes a nice little cut to get by the outside defender and then outruns that same safety to the endzone. Again, good stuff, but nothing extraordinary.
(run at 3:44) another good show of speed, but there's actually really great blocking here and he basically gets to run straight down the gap with some minor adjustments. Some good leg drive at the end to get a couple extra yards.
(catch at 4:32) not much on the play here, but at rare occurrence of Ozigbo lining up out wide and pulling in an off target ball on a short hook. Good hands.
A few other screen or outlet catches that's he competent on and some decent shorter runs where he either drives through to get a few more yards or dodges a tackler behind the line. One of his better college games for sure.
Ozigbo vs Northwestern 2018
(big run at 0:08) Good patience to wait for his blocks and then manages to take the edge and get north/south quick. Bends it around for a few extra yards. Good stuff.
(short run at 1:01) Met in the backfield immediately but does a little jump cut to get clear and get a nice gain of about 7.
(short run at 3:00) Again he's immediately in trouble at the handoff 3-yards behind the LOS, but he fights off the arm tackle, jump cuts and evades several other guys to net a few yards.
(couple of runs at 3:52) A couple more examples of evading backfield pressure and he nearly makes it to the end zone after freezing a defender with a jumpcut on the second one.
There's a few more catches and runs that are pretty good, but again, nothing groundbreaking here. Solid skillset to evade tackles and runs really hard with those huge legs, though.
Ozigbo vs Illinois 2018
(TD run at 2:53) really just one run that I wanted to pull from here because it is one of my favorites. Shows off his pretty decent long speed and his solid, powerful running base. A DB goes right at his legs and he just bounces right off barely losing a step. Not a good team (neither is Nebraska), but hey, he looked good.
I think Ozigbo's my pick for this backfield right now, but I think a lot of that also comes down to familiarity over Robinson.
