Dilfer to wear John Brodie's retired #12 in SF (1 Viewer)

This is old news, but I did a search and couldn't find anything. Anyway, Trent Dilfer asked (and received) permission from his friend John Brodie -- who's on the long road to recovery after suffering a stroke in 2000 -- to wear Brodie's retired #12 uniform for the 49ers. In my opinion there aren't many situations that justify "unretiring" a uniform number, but this one fits the bill.
