Exciting.
I've been told 3rd maybe a 4th but probably it's a third. How do you not take the 2014 top rusher for a 3rd? Also, he's willing to rework his contract which is awesome. Kudos new GM, we wanted a good RB and you got us one without paying thru the nose.
I don't think he's the top RB in the NFL but I do think he's very good.
Every Eagle (have you noticed?) is hated from last year, is a hack, shouldn't be in the league and some other such complaints. Gotta weed out the Eagles fans that are saying this stuff to a degree. Kelly's time share didn't work and their OL was poor. A step above the Titans but still in the basement of junk OLs. It's a waste of time to dissect who is worst at a certain point-offenses just don't really function right.
Several said Murray was a 3rd down back coming out of OU. He's got the receiving, third down ability if necessary. He proved em' wrong but it's nice he has that ability.
McCluster was good on third down last year and looked like he found his role.
Andrews, Cobb, and Sankey will battle it out for the other two spots. Andrews is probably going to win a spot. He can play FB and slot, KR and LS even.
Last year's top FB in the draft was barely used. They could show a real nice lead back for Murray.
The line is still a concern but by all accounts they're addressing it soon.
The Titans will be like the Browns or Bengals were for years- top this, top that, highly rated this or that...losing brings it. Proof is in execution and not draft day stock.
They have 1st and 2nd round WRs, two supposed athletic freaks and the other mind numbingly fast but Hunter, DGB, and Wright have yet to equal their draft praise.
I mentioned top FB, Lewan was rated highly, Warmack was one of the best G prospects in a while too. Mariota....there's a ton of talent there. They're giving the fans what they want. The guys gotta produce though and that's the problem. Having Mularkey's O called by a longtime WR coach will be odd, in addition having another longtime WR coach may be just what they need to unearth some of that WR talent.
Anyway, one piece, onto the next
