Are we starting Burfict and Lavonte David this week?

Seems like Burfict is cleared and good to go. Lavonte David doesn't seem to be on the injury report either now, though the last report I read was just that he could be back. Trying to decide who to start in the championship game, with other options Kiko Alonso, Darron Lee, Jaaylon Smith, and...

The Trump Years- Every day something more shocking than the last!

There's something beautifully ironic about a right wing radio host who undoubtedly bashes ACA & any attempt at real health care reform posting a GoFundMe campaign to pay for his wife's medical bills.  At least he had the "dignity" to have OTHER conservatives set it up for him... but then...

    ***OFFICIAL*** The Division PC|PS4|XBONE

Anyone still playing this? (I am, on XB1). 1.4 looks very interesting (coming in Oct), for those of you who want to revisit.

Dice: New Andrew Dice Clay show on Showtime

I agree, but wife & I found this hilarious. I think there's an element of the self-deprecating/self-parody that makes it funnier.

    Dorial Green-Beckham

No, that's not quite what an ad hominem attack means. In any case, what mquinn asked for and I think is reasonable, is why we should consider a statement of opinion like that. Without any actual analysis, credibility and authority doesn't make it true or false (that's a logical fallacy as...

*** Official Elder Scrolls Online (XB1) thread ***

I haven't found anything particularly insightful, but TamrielJournal and a few others have good alchemy guides. I found Keen Eye particularly useful for alchemy and clothing - I found almost no plants before that - and still useful for blacksmithing especially early on. I think someone...

On the crafting front, unlock the research stuff as quickly as you can. It makes a big difference when you're doing 2 and then 3 at a time - though I find I haven't had to unlock Woodworking because I've never gotten more than 2 at a time. Dunno why. Also, level your unlocks along with your...

Sorry I had been traveling. I promoted anyone in the guild already and will try to add and promote any of the other names.

Feel free to add me - corpcow on XBL. Any of you guys in/want to have a guild? Seems like there's benefits to that... I have basically just been playing this as a single player game :) I'm a 30-something Khajiit Nightblade but mostly use staffs.

    TE Maxx Williams, ARZ

I took him in 2.03 in a TE-required league (no premium), but I'm struggling on how to value him in leagues that combine WR/TE. To put in comparison, Gronk was WR10, Gates was WR16, Graham was WR20, Olsen was WR25, and Bennett was WR32. So there's definitely value there, and a lot of these guys...

Eric Berry NFI Out for Year

I'm curious too - trying to decide what to do in a contract dynasty league where I have him for a relatively high salary and 5 yr contract. I had Stage II testicular cancer and the chemo/surgery schedule was one where I could see someone coming back within a 6-8 month timeframe. We don't know...

CJ Spiller--Lazy and stupid NFL coaches.

:thanks: I also like how the coaches are somehow LAZY too because they're not featuring OP's 5th round pick (maybe, since really it's just speculation with him being used as a returner).

    RB Devonta Freeman, BAL

Interesting. I haven't looked at rookie ADPs in awhile, but in one league I got Freeman at 1.10 and Benjamin at 1.16. In two others, where I didn't draft them, Freeman went 1.13 and 1.14 and Benjamin went 1.15 and 2.1.

#3 Rookie Pick, Beckhan, Cooks, Benjamin, QB or still available

In one draft I'm in, Hyde (??) went 1.02. Then it was Evans, Beckham and Cooks. Ebron went 1.06, and Sankey went 1.07. 16 teams, non-PPR, and we start 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE and one flex. Interestingly, the league usually undervalues WRs.

True Detective: Tom went in to listen to the Cardinals game...in November. Mmmmmhmmmm...

Exactly. National law enforcement, national papers and national channels all have video of bad things happening and it's clearly more than one person. And all the case files and other evidence that Rust and Marty had putting the family tree together, names of everyone they talked to, etc. I...

True Detective: Tom went in to listen to the Cardinals game...in November. Mmmmmhmmmm...

Well, he did say "One to the feds, one to state CID..." in addition to the media. I'm not saying they didn't call, but I think the point is there was significant elapsed time here. It wasn't like they showed up even an hour later. As I said, the contrast between light and dark is very...

True Detective: Tom went in to listen to the Cardinals game...in November. Mmmmmhmmmm...

 Maybe I just thought the elapsed time was emphasized particularly with the use of the flare. It wasn't like we're at sunset and then it's evening. The contrast between light and dark played prominently during the ending. And, we also have to assume that they weren't found right away...
