I'm not getting on any virtual meetings early, ever. I've got better things to do with my time than sit there and listen to people's awkward attempts at humor to fill the time until everyone shows up.
Is Chark any good at this point? Seems like a warm body vet to have around in case the younger guys fall flat. I don't think Davis is on the bubble either, he's too good at returning, and with the new rules, returners got a bit of a bump. I think Johnson will be the odd man out, with an eye...
Movie 5. "Clean Up On Aisle 7". An unsuspecting handsome man goes grocery shopping, encountering a sexy check out clerk who demands on opening his package and inspecting his eggs. Finding that some of the items are indeed subpar, they return to the dairy aisle to improve his situation, exploring...
"Good" Telesco drafts were the ones where good players fell into his lap in the 1st round, the obvious choices, like Herbert, James, Bosa, and then fell apart beginning in round 3.
"Bad" Telesco drafts are the ones where there are somewhat non obvious decisions to make, and he blows them. Like...
The new thread title - it's faaaaaaaantastic.
You should have kept a log of all the thread titles through the season on the first post, there were some doozies.
That's a good point about Vidal. If they knew they were going WR WR in round 7, then they had to get Vidal in the 6th, regardless of the "right" round for him.
Yeah, Ham made a less than ideal situation worse. His affinity for some players that didn't merit as much run as he gave them and his constant experimentation with the rotation were major issues this season. Maybe Max Christie isn't the answer, but you're never going to find that out keeping him...
More != all. Lakers shot 76.6% for the series, Nuggets shot 86.1%. That difference matters too, especially when your offense is predicated on scoring inside and drawing fouls (since they can't hit 3s).
That'd be a question for the refs, doesn't really have much to do with the Lakers' roster issues. But since you mentioned it, it'd be nice if the Lakers could find guys who hit more of their free throws too. In the end they made only 4 more free throws than the Nuggets.
MPJ shot .488 on 3's for the series on 41 shots, leading the team for 3pa. That's pretty ****ing good, whether he was open or not.
Contrast that with DeAngelo Russell who shot 44 3s at .318 for the series, leading the team for 3pa. That's pretty ****ing bad, whether he was open or not.
If the...
Lakers shot .299, Nuggets .308. That .009 means something when the games are as close as most of them were. If both teams shot .308, the Lakers would still be playing right now. Point being, though they have a ton of crud on the roster, if the Lakers could find a guy who shot 3's consistently at...
In your analysis, and maybe I read it wrong, it seemed like 4.5 through 6.5 were all selected significantly above where the consensus had them in terms of their draft order ranges. That's what gave me pause. Also, I'm not convinced they needed to move up to take McConkey, that seemed a little...
Definitely wouldn't want to rely on any of them for much in FF. I don't know that you'd want to spend an initial roster spot on any them besides the ex-Ravens.
