12 Team PPR, 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX
I gave: Keenan Allen, Steve Smith, Greg Olsen
I received: Sammy Watkins, Ladarius Green
Probably an overpay but I really wanted Watkins and I wasn't competing this year. Green is another guy I am high on so I got suckered on all the upside. Gives me...
Have a bad feeling about Martin, he'll be 26 (still young but old for someone only in the league 3 years) next off-season and that team doesn't look any good. I think if he continues on his poor year and is nicked by injuries he'll have a serious hit on his value. Not to mention that Sims will...
I'd roll with Flacco in that group. He was consistently a high end QB2 until last years disastrous season. A proven offensive coordinator should get the offense more respectable and allow him to have some pretty good games throughout the year.
Buying:
Keenan Allen - Faced two strong defenses early on, should only get easier.
Eddie Lacy - Similar to Allen, he's stil a RB1
Torrey Smith - If you can get him for WR4 prices, he will provide value going forward
Victor Cruz - The Ginats are terrible, but Cruz has to do better then he is...
Well I should say it's a redraft league, not a dynasty. I probably am dumb for not accepting, but with my roster, I can afford getting nothing for Gordon. I just picked him up off waivers and if he has even a 20% chance of getting his suspension lifted, I'll probably be able to get Dez Bryant if...
Maybe for some serious high stakes players this would be the case, but $10,000 is difference making money for your average Joe. I think the better analogy would be selling for $100 if you had a 10% chance of winning $1,000.
Most people might gamble and hold on that one.
Anyone ever have success doing these in a parlay?
Some of them seem like locks, some that strike me are:
Michael Floyd, over 1000
Torrey Smith, over 1000
Keenan Allen, over 1000
Terrance Williams, over 800
DeAndre Hopkins, over 750
Kendall Wright, over 900
These are all young players...
14 Team PPR
I am in win-now mode. Didn't want to rely on Hilton or Williams as my FLEX.
Gave: Terrance Williams, 2015 1st, 2015 4th
Received: Michael Crabtree, 2015 2nd, 2015 2nd, 2015 3rd
The 3rd and 4th rounders are from the same third party team. I project my 1st to be very late and 1 of...
Julio and Dez are FA's and I am going to land 1 of them with my cap space. I have Matt Ryan, DT, Alshon, Jordy, Floyd, Hunter, Gordon and Thomas for roughly half of my cap. So I am going after 1 of them and Jamaal Charles, should have a pretty decent shot at a championship but one team does have...
Made a couple trades in my 12 Team PPR Salary Cap Contract League ($500):
Gave: Eddie Lacy ($63, 2 years)
Received: Demaryius Thomas ($76, 2 years)
Gave: Keenan Allen ($2, 1 year)
Received: Jordy Nelson ($46, 2 years)
Trade 1 was pretty close for me, but I just like DT to put up another...
Hello,
Moneyball Dynasty League is a new dynasty league seeking dedicated, loyal, and serious owners for the inaugural 2014 season. A quick blurb about me, I have been playing fantasy sports for 6 years and have successfully ran multiple leagues. I am an extremely active owner and fair...
For me it comes down to starting requirements. If it's a traditional 2 RB, 2 WR, I think he gets pushed down to the end of the first round. But, if it's 3 WR or a FLEX, or even more possibilities for WR's to start, he should be a early-to-mid first rounder.
I have him 4th, behind Peterson...
