How many of you would be in favor of bringing in a second NFL team, say the Arizona Cardinals, and having the owners split the cost of building a new stadium at the Arlington Heights location?
Would it be possible for the Bears address one of their needs by trading their 9th and a 2025 pick to the Bengals for their first rounder and Tee Higgins? They could then pick up a DL at 18. Or would the Bengals first rounder be too low for a quality lineman?
What many people don’t realize is that the Windy City moniker comes from Chicago’s politics not its weather (which is actually better than many Midwest and East Coast cities).
Why is everyone assuming the Bears even had an offer to consider? Maybe there were no other offers that were turned down and this WAS the best one out there.
I think at this point Poles should consider acquiring a quality player for Fields (D Line?) instead of a draft pick. Doubt they would do it but Maxx Crosby for Fields sounds enticing.
Center Coleman Shelton signed a one year deal with the Bears today. He started all 17 games for the Rams last year and was PFFs 17th-ranked center for 2023.
Mike Williams was released so he can be had for cheap. The question is would you rather sign one of the available FA WRs or a rookie in the first round (either/or). If a FA veteran, which one?
