He was a Democratic Party firebrand and top of the ticket contender. The well connected non-violent and political insiders seem to be the types considered historically for pardons. 

There are posters in this forum that would probably write his appeal to Biden based on the first few pages of this very thread. 

Avenatti was the San Diego Chicken of the Democratic Party for a couple years.  

Not even close. He polled about 2%-3% at best in every poll that I saw. And no Democrats here talked about him as a top of the ticket contender.

No...the thread is all there.  The denial is that he was ever any legit anything.  Seriously...show me the posts of any regular in the PSF thinking he was some great candidate.

First page alone...one person said he was a fan.  Thats it.

Another said he would just like to see him debate Trump and primary Trump (not even knowing he was a democrat).  When he learned he was a dem...he said he would not want him near the top.

The best part was that goof on CNN drooling all over himself when Avenatti came on. I actually watched CNN’s coverage election night 2016 and it was well done. Somewhere between then and that moment with Avenatti the whole thing went in the ditch.

Of course, Avenatti was embarrassing Trump and threatening to make him suffer in court.  People loved Avenatti for that but I'm not sure how many people on the left trusted him.  Many have inherent distrust of politicians or lawyers and Avenatti loved self promotion from the start.

I've been wondering that.  I'd love to see him on debate Trump and primary him.

Why?  I mean the us just elected a freaking tv show host as pres....why not a lawyer next time around?

Not shocking...you went for partial quotes without context.  The very first one...it was not about supporting him...(I mention it earlier in the thread)...it was about thinking it would be interesting to see him debate and primary Trump (the guy didn't even know Avenatti was a Democrat)  When told he was a democrat...he then stated he is probably not qualified and he would rather not see him on when it counts.  That is a bid disservice to @moleculo to claim he was some supporter of Avenatti as a serious candidate.
