I seriously doubt that Dems would impeach at this point given what has happened, but yeah IMO political interference by the AG and President into a criminal prosecution affecting the President and his friend and former campaign and political consultant would indeed be impeachable. Happy to wait what we find out but I think you will likely hear about hearings on this soon. You're 100% speculating and already talking impeachment??! This is crazy talk.
You'll get the rarely used sadz emoticon from me for that one indeed, Republicans giving full throated support for authoritarian ideology is indeed a sad day.
What interference? They recommended a 7-9 year sentence. The DOJ came back with a 3-4 year sentence is more inline with the offense. Then these 4 prosecutors took their ball and went home.I seriously doubt that Dems would impeach at this point given what has happened, but yeah IMO political interference by the AG and President into a criminal prosecution affecting the President and his friend and former campaign and political consultant would indeed be impeachable. Lmao...leave this thread. What’s sad is the the complete meltdown by some here that can’t accept life is good. You'll get the rarely used sadz emoticon from me for that one indeed, Republicans giving full throated support for authoritarian ideology is indeed a sad day.
Yup.Pretty much anything any President does in any way from now is a nothingburger.
He's already thereYup.
President Sanders going go crazy if he so chooses.

DOJ made the decision to reduce before Trump even tweeted his displeasure with the recommendation. So I don't see anything wrong done here.
Now imagine him as president doing whatever he wants and thinking it’s all great because the prez can do what the prez wants. He's already there
DOJ is having the meltdown. There are other things more important in this life besides the size of our wallet....What’s sad is the the complete meltdown by some here that can’t accept life is good.
I'm good if he wants to withhold foreign aide. All good here. I do think right now he's the likely nominee. The left is his now, Warren is done after tonight. The more centrist lane is all a mess with Pete/Amy/Bloomberg.Now imagine him as president doing whatever he wants and thinking it’s all great because the prez can do what the prez wants.
Enjoy!
Far left bias source. Please refrain from citing garbage like this in this thread.
He’s cleaning house. Exactly what we hired him to do in 2016.DOJ is having the meltdown. There are other things more important in this life besides the size of our wallet.
I’m not. Especially if it’s for some bat#### conspiracy theory stuff.I'm good if he wants to withhold foreign aide. All good here. I do think right now he's the likely nominee. The left is his now, Warren is done after tonight. The more centrist lane is all a mess with Pete/Amy/Bloomberg.
Why would you say that? Relax. I trust Mitch McConnell to bog it down. He could cause gridlock and stagnation for an 18 wheeler going 85 MPH on a sheet of ice. If Sanders is the nominee, I'd expect Trump to win. But if he didn't, McConnell would be guaranteed the majority leader spot with him heading the ticket. Either way, the sun comes up in the morning. I'm not planning on flailing about and breaking out the tin foil hat for four years. Things are all good.I’m not. Especially if it’s for some bat#### conspiracy theory stuff.
He starts taking money away front he military force his pet projects like Trump did for his wall?
Going to be like WW3 in here
It’s long overdue to cut back social security from drug addicts, morbidly obese, and others that were not the intended recipient of social security.quality posting
Interesting/Bad, she stepped down from US Attorney for DC to take that nomination. - She was looking at confirmation hearings where she was certain to be asked about interference from the AG and the President in the Mueller prosecutions, including Stone.@Don Quixote posted in the other thread
ShimonPro: Trump has withdrawn the nomination of Jessie Liu to serve as the Treasury Department's undersecretary for terrorism and financial crimes, three sources confirm to CNN. Liu headed the US attorney office that oversaw the prosecution and conviction of Trump associate Roger Stone
What say did Mitch have in Trump’s EO to take billions for his fence? It was a “national emergency”.Why would you say that? Relax. I trust Mitch McConnell to bog it down. DOJ - which is just the prosecutors btw - didn't ask for a 3-4 year sentence - the prosecutors asked for 7-9 years, then the very next day, a day when the President excoriated the sentence request on twitter, they asked for a lesser sentence without even naming any recommended term at all, and you think there was no interference or pressure from above, is that right? What interference? They recommended a 7-9 year sentence. The DOJ came back with a 3-4 year sentence is more inline with the offense. Then these 4 prosecutors took their ball and went home.

A test for seniors to receive Social Security based on their weight...yes I am sure that will go over well...It’s long overdue to cut back social security from drug addicts, morbidly obese, and others that were not the intended recipient of social security.
Is this the fence I hear about in the PSF that isn't really being built? What say did Mitch have in Trump’s EO to take billions for his fence? It was a “national emergency”.
Prez apparently has a lot of leeway in that regard apparently and it’s all good.
Who said anything about seniors. You think seniors are the only ones getting social security?A test for seniors to receive Social Security based on their weight...yes I am sure that will go over well...
Context. It's a good posting because if you guys really think that - the nothingburger threads in here should dry up some. You'll get the rarely used sadz emoticon from me for that one indeed, Republicans giving full throated support for authoritarian ideology is indeed a sad day.
From what I've read, it's the SS Disability, not the part going to seniors.A test for seniors to receive Social Security based on their weight...yes I am sure that will go over well...
Lord knows what they do with the money. Is this the fence I hear about in the PSF that isn't really being built?
That’s what everyone is reporting, no changes to seniorsFrom what I've read, it's the SS Disability, not the part going to seniors.
Seniors are not the major recipients of Social Security?Who said anything about seniors. You think seniors are the only ones getting social security?
Don’t spoil his falsehood spreading.....From what I've read, it's the SS Disability, not the part going to seniors.
Eh that depends on your view of an important piece of the American experiment drying up. If it’s resignation, apathy or even support for that, yeah, I agree.Context. It's a good posting because if you guys really think that - the nothingburger threads in here should dry up some.
Where’s the board cops when you need them?Seniors are not the major recipients of Social Security? Okie Dokie Pokie.
That a boy. Next scandal they come up with let's not get all our hopes up since we know how it ends.Eh thT depends on your view of an important piece of the American experiment drying up. If it’s resignation, apathy or even support for that, yeah, I agree.
I think we’re open and honest about what we support here, so right thanks for that. That a boy. Next scandal they come up with let's not get all our hopes up since we know how it ends.
Odd take since I’m sure this demographic puts in much more than it takes out.A test for seniors to receive Social Security based on their weight...yes I am sure that will go over well...It’s long overdue to cut back social security from drug addicts, morbidly obese, and others that were not the intended recipient of social security.
I must admit, I get a big kick out of the blubbering and meltdowns. It compliments the constant negativity and defeatism nicely. Imagine if Trump supporters did this in “The Trump Years” thread. We would be tarred and feathered (and rightfully so).Lmao...leave this thread. What’s sad is the the complete meltdown by some here that can’t accept life is good.

I just heard Lawrence O'Donnell say this. What he failed to quantify or account for was how many of those 10,000 may have not voted or voted for Clinton in 2016. NH allows you to take the ballot you want so there's no way to know that. He also was assuming no defections from the Democratic side. I find it hard to believe that if Bernie wins, all the centrists show up to vote Bernie or that if someone other than Bernie wins, all his people show up to vote for the other D. That state is too close to call for either side, especially not knowing who the nominee will be. He also conveniently left out that the turnout appears flat just as it was in Iowa. Some pundits talking about the significance in the small state of New Hampshire where Bill Weld got about 10% of the GOP vote. (10,000 votes)President Trump lost New Hampshire by 3000 votes to Clinton and the President had sights on winning the state but those 10,000 votes are protest Romney type votes. Where do those 10,000 votes go in November? How many stay home and or how many can the Democrats grab? Hard to believe that the President has picked up votes since 2016 or that whoever the Democrat candidate is will get less votes than Clinton did.
That is a good point but I find it hard to believe that anyone who would have voted for Clinton would now waste a vote for Weld, or if they did that they would consider voting for Trump this fall. Far more likely they stay homeI just heard Lawrence O'Donnell say this. What he failed to quantify or account for was how many of those 10,000 may have not voted or voted for Clinton in 2016. In large part, I agree. But O'Donnell was basically saying it's 0 that would cast a vote for Trump out of that 10,000 and that makes the math impossible statistically. It's not 0, I'd suggest it's likely not a statistically insignificant piece. Let's say Bernie Sanders wins the nomination. Is it realistic to say 10,000 Republicans who are currently "never Trumpers" or simply Republicans who may just not like Trump so much will simply stay home or vote for a self described Socialist in 100% totality? I don't believe that is an honest take. Again, I don't know what those proportions will be, who the nominee will be to take on Trump, what the economy is like by November, etc. All that plays a part. But NH is one of the most in doubt states there is right now. I think while his numbers may be valid in their raw form, he's drawing some unsubstantiated conclusions from them. That is a good point but I find it hard to believe that anyone who would have voted for Clinton would now waste a vote for Weld, or if they did that they would consider voting for Trump this fall. One thing I did hear as far as turn out though is that with 90% reporting they already have had more turnout than 2016.In large part, I agree. Fingers crossed the disappointing turn out in Iowa slapped some people around to not just take for granted a strong voter turn out this year. One thing I did hear as far as turn out though is that with 90% reporting they already have had more turnout than 2016.
TRUMP BABY!! They were reporting only 2% votes trump. Guess they found one of those voters. It’s going to be like this on election night. How many folks have come into this thread and said I didn’t vote for him in 16 but will be in 20. He is going to destroy any democrat.MSNBC: “Hey we got a voter over here, who did you vote for?”

Registration often drops for the incumbent party during the primary.Another interesting point made by O’Donnell. There are now 20,000 fewer registered Republican voters in New Hampshire than there were in 2016. That is what Donald Trump has done to the Republican Party. I do wonder if those numbers are solid or if they can register back with the GOP
