I’m not going to change my answer but the more I think about it I’m just not sure YG2HYLA has what it takes to be number one. Maybe a little too simple, not big enough. I still like it to finish well though.

Having missed the guardrails, I’d like to change my vote (for #1) from I Am The Walrus to While My Guitar Gently Weeps if possible.

Ok!  I'll consider this a "late entry," so if you win then I'll send a contribution to the second place person's charity, too.

This list is the most difficult, I'd think.  Other than "Don't Let Me Down" (spoiler alert), seems like any of those could reasonably be chosen.

Also, my #11 and #13 come from this list.

Those versions of her look like every girl that could be found in the "smoker's lounge" outside in high school.

Also, typically from the "wrong side of the tracks" ...we literally had "the wrong side of the tracks" in town.
By the way, totally off-topic but somewhat related to this thread, today I switched from my regular horseradish mustard to this for my turkey sandwich.  So mean but so good.

Out for dinner/drinking.  If you're in a place with TouchTunes, here are my recommendations for songs to jam up the jukebox so no one else's song gets played:

Beatles:  Hey Jude (~7:10), I Want You (She's So Heavy) (~7:45)

Other:  Television, Marquee Moon, ~10.5 minutes, plus has a nice fadeout that makes you think it's over

Neil Young, Cortez the Killer, ~7.5 minutes

Suicide, Frankie Teardrop, ~10.5 minutes consisting mostly of screaming alternating with silence
Oh please.

Grateful Dead - Help on the Way/Slipknot/Franklin's Tower - 19:07

Stunning?

Not even tops locally.  Not even close.
Yes, stunning.  Anyone can find the worst picture of a person online and hold that out as representative.  It's not clever, though.

ETA:  Thanks for the condolences, and you're far from a knob.   :)

Yeah, but I kind of feel bad for all you guys that she's referring to with that comment.

Personally I'm pretty used to having a woman tell me that.

not even close

Pretty sure it was Shaft41 she was referring to.

Your face is messy!

Apparently Mr. Mustard isn't the only one who's mean.

i shave in the dark

If you had a ten bob note up your nose, you'd be mean as well.
wOw - this thread really does need krista

I had a dream last night that I was driving with the Beatles channel on the radio, and I heard a fantastic cover of "You Won't See Me" that I'd forgotten to post in my write-up, and I felt shame.
Was it Nipsey?

I can imagine the daily obsession - I think I'd lose it!

I realized that one part of this adventure for you that I've underestimated in its time is the finding, listening and recommending of covers for each song.  But you've unearthed some gems.  And I'm not a big cover guy.
