WAIT! There's More . . . Another 100+ Songs From 1971 (1 Viewer)

Footballguy
Tim took a shot at listing the Top 100 songs of 1971 and Bracie followed that with another batch of 100 songs. Bless them for their Herculean efforts. Here are another 100+ songs that didn't make either list (at least I don't think they did . . . didn't cross check the lists very thoroughly). I am too lazy to rank this batch, so people get what they get in alphabetical order. I am hoping a number of these were just oversights and left off the other lists accidently. I will try to add links to the songs when I get a chance. As for meeting the guidelines set forth in the other threads, this list includes songs that were released as singles or on albums released in the same timeframe. So there may be a couple songs that were on earlier albums but released as singles . . . or songs that made their first appearances on albums in late 1970 or at any point in 1971. Feel free to debate the merits of this set . . . or pick out some songs that probably should have made the other lists.

If I were making a 71 top 100, these would probably be in it.

I thought about putting together a list of "The Next 100", but some of my choices would have been way too obscure even for this crowd.
