d) 115 miles. That was the 2010 finding of a food blogger who examined maps detailing locations of all McDonalds. The spot is in northern Nevada in the middle of the desert. The blogger ordered a couple of Quarter Pounders, fries and cokes, and drove and mountain biked to the spot to eat it. Given, probably not the greatest of food blogs.
2) True or False. There is a bridge that dogs seem to commit suicide from by jumping.
True. The Overtoun Bridge is near Dumbarton in Scotland. Since the 1950s and 1960s, it's estimated between 100 and 600 dogs have leapt from the bridge, including at least 50 deaths. Some dogs that survived the fifty feet fall to the rocks below reportedly returned to the bridge and jumped again. Explanations put forth include being tempted by the scent of mink urine, having problems perceiving the edge of the bridge due to being color blind, and ghosts.
3) Idaho is the only state to actively ban the consumption of this.
Human flesh. Everywhere else in the US, cannibalism is technically legal so long as the other person consents to being eaten. Regardless of consent would-be cannibals could run afoul of other laws though, such as ones governing abuse of desecreation of a corpse.

False. Psychic tears are one of three types of tears produced around the human eye. Basal tears keep the eye moistened, reflex tears result from irritation of the eye, and psychic tears, also referred to as crying or weeping, are tearing due to emotional stress, pleasure, anger, suffering, mourning, or physical pain.
5) Sergei Krikalev and Alkesandr Volkov are probably the only people to have changed this attribute of themselves while in space.
Nationalities. They both went into space as citizens of the Soviet Union, which disbanded while they were still aboard the Mir spacecraft. With the Baikonur Cosmodrome and the landing area both being located in the newly-independent Kazakhstan, there was a lot of uncertainty about the fate of the mission, which ended up lasting months longer than planned. They eventually returned to Earth, with Krikalev coming down a Russian, and Volkov a Ukrainian.
6) True or False. Some Tesla automobiles are available with a Bioweapon Defense Mode.
True. The company unveiled the Model X, and Elon Musk shared a rather unexpected feature during the unveiling: a "bioweapon defense mode" button. The button should come in handy "if there’s ever an apocalyptic scenario of some kind," he said. All you apparently have to do is push the button and the Model X's air filter — which is about 10 times larger than a normal car's air filter — should be able to keep you safe. The company claims it's 300 times better at filtering bacteria, 500 times better at filtering allergens, 700 times better at filtering smog, and 800 times better at filtering viruses. I don't believe any mention was made of how you are supposed to survive once you exit the vehicle...

Beavers. Argentine officials introduced 25 pairs of beavers from Canada to the South American nation in 1946 in an effort to promote the local fur industry. With no natural predators in the area, the beaver population exploded beyond control. The beavers cutting down trees along riverbanks has worsened flooding, and trees can not grow back as fast as the run amok beavers take them out. It is estimated the beavers have deforested an area twice the size of Buenos Aires.

True. Japanese honeybees are attacked by giant hornets whose outter skin the bees cannot penetrate with their stingers. The bees will swarm around the attacker and form a spherical ball of bees, and vibrate their flight mucles to create heat. The mass of bees will heat the ball up to 116 degrees Fahrenheit, enough to kill the hornet. Apparently the bees can survive 5-9 degrees F more warmth than the hornets can.

a) armadillos. Completely unrelated, a group of Wilmer Valderrama impersonators are known as an armadillo. And in case you are wondering, the dhole is an actual animal, also known as a mountain fox, red dog or whistling dog.

Kansas. On a zero-to-one scale, with one being perfect flatness, Kansas was flatter with a score of 0.9997 to a pancake's 0.957.
