Noob question - is there a way to copy and paste a post and get all the links that are embedded in it too?

Oh man, I just realized one of my favorite and most quoted movies is from 1992 -  Boomerang.

You got to reverse it. Don't be #####-whipped, whip that #####. Like this here, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.

Here is what is in my research pile for this year as of now:

Bad Lieutenant, Romper Stomper, Belle Epoque, Glengarry GlenRoss

Oh, I hinted at it in the other thread, but up next after this poll will be 2005.

Also a great year with a lot of variety, IMO.  You have everything from Brokeback to Batman Begins to 40 Year Old Virgin to Grizzly Man.

Glengarry will be a re-watch.  I remember not liking it at all, but that was 15+ years ago I think.
I added the #### to get in character more than show how much I liked it. Can't do Mamet any more. Any more with the Mamet. I can't do it. Mamet. Enough of that guy already. Fwiw, Romper was my favorite of that group

Haven't seen a few of these...

You guys got this!  I'll watch Unforgiven for y'all, though. I hate Westerns, unfortunately, like Gr00vus pointed out.

I'm way into music right now.

I may post a list, but I want it to be informed, and good.

really hated Bad Lieutenant.  Who's with me?
Never saw it, but it doesn't look very good. I am not sure I will watch it.

My watchlist:

Husbands and Wives

Sneakers

Lessons of Darkness

The Quince Tree Sun

The Night

Left some very good movies off my final list like Juice, Wayne’s world (Cassandra shwing), mighty ducks, school ties and Basic Instinct

I was just putting my preliminary list together and surprised even myself by giving double digits to The Muppets Christmas Carol.  There's no guarantee it will stay that way, but I couldn't really justify putting some others that I've only seen once or twice above it. I still pull it out every couple of years around Christmas.  Michael Caine and the music are so good.

Very good year for ethnically diverse films at the top tier.  Hope to see that reflected in the FFA final list.

This was on mine too.  It's one of the few Christmas movies that I love.

A couple that I watched in the last couple days that I wasn't in love with:  A League of their Own and Last of the Mohicans.    I love me some DDL, but thought LotM was just OK overall.  A few epic scenes, but a bit dull.   My son liked League of Their Own and said he gives it a 7.5/10.

I mostly agree but the thing that pushes LotM into potential points for me is the epic soundtrack.

I am sure I will be able to dig up a review by somebody who is annoyed by the Hollywood liberal slant on Scrooge, who is just a hard working business owner.
can we plz check.politics at the ####### door?

that's worse than snobbery/snobbery backlash.

TIA

I was a teenager at the time so movies like Basic Instinct had an "appeal."
