2018 rookie pick 1.01 post combine (Closed) (1 Viewer)

The purpose of these polls is to get an idea of who the majority of voters prefer at a specific pick in a rookie draft. These drafts assume that all 2018 rookie players are available. For the 2QB poll there may be some variance in scoring. Some may be standard, others PPR. I think a lot of 2QB leagues may involve IDP as well so these differences are not accounted for here. Only looking at the offensive skill players in the two most common formats and also 2QB leagues, to get a sense of where the QB are valued relative to other positions, when there is actually scarcity at the QB position. The polls assume 12 teams and likely 24-26 roster spots as the most common format for dynasty. Short bench dynasty leagues should only care about the top 6-12 rookie players.

If a player isn't listed that you would vote for please vote other and then post the name of the player that you voted for so that player can be added to the next poll. Also please suggest players not listed that you would vote for soon, even if not on the particular poll that is active.

I will be using this list compiled by miqws that looks good for populating the poll.

I don't care what format, it's Barkley. Could be a start 4-QB league and I'd still pick him.

There's some value in seeing if anyone votes for a QB in the 2QB league.

Um... really? To see the 1 person who is never winning their league because they took Mayfield over Barkley vote? Okay if you want to, I can wait. 

 A formality most likely.

It would be interesting to see if any other player is preferred over Barkley at this point though.

I think you have to put the poll out there to get a snapshot of the pool’s consensus.

In reality, Barkley is the most clear cut 1.01 rookie choice, regardless of format, that I have seen in my 25 years of fantasy football experience.

If this was an NBA rookie draft I would still take Barkley.

Just to play devils advocate, I think Zeke was right there or maybe higher, but his rookie class was bad. This class looks to be loaded.

Ha sorry for being snarky. I greatly appreciate these polls and your methods/effort. Just can’t believe anyone would actually pick someone other than Barkley at this point. But still we should follow the process. Okay I take it back!!

Zeke and Barkley are neck and neck in my mind. But zeke went to an ideal situation.

I just need a percentage for the first poll is all.

I do see one vote for Lamar Jackson in the 2 QB poll. 

There are also some votes for Mark Andrews and Mike Gesicki which is different. No RB league?

You should have had Barkley as the only option on all 4 polls.

The votes for Andrews and Gesicki were done just to see my head explode

There is a vote for Sony Michel now which is interesting.

Absolutely. you can certainly put Zeke right there, especially because he entered a utopian situation for a rookie RB.
