2017 rookie pick 2.09 post combine (Closed) (1 Viewer)

This poll is to find out where rookie players stack up after the combine.

My goal is to run these polls up until the NFL and see how far we can get. Hopefully a top 25 at least, but if polls go fast maybe we can get deeper than that. Will have to see how this goes.

There are two polls, one for typical 12 team leagues 20 roster spots, PPR or standard scoring. Although there are some differences between these two scoring formats, I don't think the information gained by that difference is much, the order should be about the same except that WR should be valued more in PPR leagues.

The second poll is for 2 QB leagues as I want to see where the QBs are valued compared to other players in this format.

Please suggest players you think should be on the next set of polls or changes you might make to the players currently available in the poll.

I am pulling names from Mike Clays nice top 100 list here. But I will add new players based on the communities recommendations before just adding the next player from Mikes list.

At 23 votes Taywan Taylor and Marlon Mack are tied with 5 votes each.

Zay Jones with a slight lead on Curtis Samuel in the 2 QB poll.

How low is everyone else on Dede Westbrook? Seems to not be getting much love.

Good question.

Mike Clay had him as the 17th overall player in his top 100 list which is why he has been in these polls so long. He has been getting a vote since poll 2.02 and he has been getting a few votes in the last 3 polls. So support for him is growing now.

Based on this poll thus far it seems more folks like Taywan Taylor a bit more than Westrook.

Josh Reynolds has the same number of votes as Westbrook right now (28 votes in) so it will be interesting to see who ends up winning between those two, if Taylor is indeed valued a bit higher than these two. Recent polls would suggest that, but this one isn't over yet.

Draft status dictates how high I rank him.  At one point I had him as high as 13 overall, now he's down near the early 20's for me.  Personally on a talent standpoint, I like him more than John Ross, and if he gets drafted high he's likely in my top15 again.  But there are a lot of concerns about him with off the field issues, and if his frame is large enough.

Alright one more whirl before putting this one to bed.

So I was going to post the next poll but it seems we have a tie between Zay Jones and Curtis Samuel in the 2 QB poll.

That is a tough one.
