This poll is to find out where rookie players stack up after the combine.

My goal is to run these polls up until the NFL and see how far we can get. Hopefully a top 25 at least, but if polls go fast maybe we can get deeper than that. Will have to see how this goes.

There are two polls, one for typical 12 team leagues 20 roster spots, PPR or standard scoring. Although there are some differences between these two scoring formats, I don't think the information gained by that difference is much, the order should be about the same except that WR should be valued more in PPR leagues.

The second poll is for 2 QB leagues as I want to see where the QBs are valued compared to other players in this format.

Please suggest players you think should be on the next set of polls or changes you might make to the players currently available in the poll.

I am pulling names from Mike Clays nice top 100 list here. But I will add new players based on the communities recommendations before just adding the next player from Mikes list.

Discussion very welcome.

Results

1.01 Leonard Fournette 73% and 48% at 52 votes

1.02 Dalvin Cook 65% and 43.75% at 84 votes

Support for Cook strong but not as strong as it was for Fournette.

After 26 votes 4 for Mixon, 3 for Corey Davis. 1 for McCaffrey.

Can you post link to the previous threads as we go, I did not see the 1.01 thread. I asked for these in the dynasty ranking thread, so if you saw that and started these, thanks.
These polls are helpful. McCaffery over Cook and Mixon right now? Ballsy.

I think landing spots will shift 2-6 around a lot. If mccaffery went to Indy, Oakland, or philly I think you can make a case ahead of those guys, as opposed to maybe Denver or Cincy. If cook slides to round 2 and kamara goes in rd 1 that could really move Cook down. May not move kamara up as much. If kamara goes to Oakland you could make a case for even him at 1.02.

Agreed. I think the combine and draft process so far has pushed 1.02 to 1.07 pretty close together and the order is going to be heavily dependent upon landing spots.

I think it's an interesting case study into the power of video that Joe Mixon is getting incredible scrutiny and Dalvin Cook is getting next to none. Cook has a much longer rap sheet with accusations of hitting a girl, abusing animals, shooting a gun in a crowded area and other stuff. Maybe none of the individual incidents are quite as bad as Mixon punching the girl, but when you look at how many there have been, I'm more worried about Cook getting into future trouble than I am Mixon.

Still think Cook's marginal combine performance represents a great buying opportunity for 1.02.

I would take him there in both of the above mentioned formats and not look back.

He's an electric football player who will be drafted in the first round and likely get a large workload early on in his career.

If the consensus is the 1.02 and 1.07 are really close and the market bears this out....BUY!

Voted for Williams. WR is king in dynasty, IMO, and I feel the top 4 RBs each have major concerns.

A question - and maybe it's been answered in other threads - why cannot I see the results of the poll after I've voted?

If you're on you phone, you may need to leave the thread and come back. That's how it works for me at least.

Thanks for the response.

I was actually on a PC...but had to do what you stated - going out and coming back in.  I just know it wasn't like that before.  If you voted, you immediately saw the results.
