The two main "characters" are friends of mine from high school.  All three of us played baseball together back in the 80s.  

Love me, hate me...don't care...this is a story that transcends everything.

Bob? All the time.  We're FB friends and have a lot in common including music.  Bob hosted an amazing public radio show from Jackson hole when he was up ther. Mike is not big on social media (mainly because he is in investment banking...I've actually seen hiIm on TV discussing investments) but we converse a couple of times a year via email.
