I have changed my vote from Wentz to Goff in the PPR poll.

Despite what I see being a worse situation for Goff, in terms of opportunity to be relevant in FF. He is still the better player. So I decided the talent should trump the situation and I was wrong to vote for the team over the player.

Still voting for Wentz in the standard poll. Henry in the 2QB poll. When I do vote for a QB in the 2QB, which may be soon, I will be voting for Cardale Jones.

I don't want to own a qb with low upside.   Gurley pretty much kills goff's upside because he will be there for years keeping him from getting big touchdown numbers.  If goff plays well,  fisher will probably keep that job.  If he plays poorly then he's probably not that good.   So you need him to be just good enough to show elite upside but not enough to save fisher.  Their best receiver runs better than he catches.   They gave up all their early picks.   Goff might end up being the better pick if you can draft and hold for six or more years but by then you'll be able to trade for him for less than you'd have to give up to get him and waste a roster spot on him until then.  Just no interest in goff whatsoever.

Yeah that is the main thing I don't like about Goff, is that his presence will likely save Fishers job for a couple of seasons. which will limit his upside.

Tie-breaker for me in preferring Wentz over Goff is rushing ability. Wentz should rush for 350+ yards per season and a few touchdowns. In two QB, there's a better argument for Goff because I think his bust factor is lower.

For what it's worth, I think I prefer DeAndre Washington over all the RBs listed in the poll for PPR. If I was set at QB, he'd probably be my pick at 2.04.

Yeah that was part of my reasoning for having Wentz ahead of Goff. I have been voting for Wentz in the past 3 or 4 polls now. Every time I voted for him I would think about it though, with Goff still available as well.

Goff college production is far more impressive than Wentz however and because this is a long term investment, moreso than for what the QB will do the next 2-3 seasons, I think it is smarter to just take the best player.

The start 2 QB poll is interesting to watch to see when the next QB will be selected.  Assuming a 12 team league there are 24 starting QBs each week.  At some point in time taking Hackenberg, Kessler or another QB prospect in this next tier as a depth play or as a hedge against injuries and bye weeks becomes the best choice.  This group of QBs can also be selected to use as trade bait for the teams that have Fitzpatrick, Geno Smith, Romo, or Tyrod Taylor.

We're getting deep in my 16 team league, to the point where I'm starting to consider hackenberg, jones,  and Kesler  (Prescott just got drafted). Pretty sure I'd take the upside of jones 5th but I actually do like Prescott as the 4th - somewhat higher floor and he's in a decent situation.

Lots of votes for Hunter Henry in the standard poll.

Drake currently ahead of Goff in the PPR poll.

Paul Perkins has the most support in the 2QB poll.

I feel that voter participation has been really low all year.

This is likely because the 2016 rookie draft class is not nearly as exciting as the past two years have been. 2014 was pretty exciting and participation was a lot more. There were more players to get excited about.
