I think the community as a whole likes Shephard more than I do.

He is going 5th in a lot of real drafts right now as well.

Pretty massive love for Shephard in PPR.

What kind of targets do people think he is going to get from Eli over the next 3 seasons?

Rueben Randle got 90 targets last year.  I don't think its unreasonable to suggest that a better receiver could end up around that number.

Yeah I was just looking this over. I can see the target range for Shephard being 80-120 and if he has 60% or better catch rate that would be 48 to 72 receptions.

I kind of doubt he would see more than 120 with a healthy Beckham taking a lot of looks.

Eli with McAdoo has had over 600 passing attempts the last 2 seasons so there are a lot of targets to go around as I don't see offensive philosophy changing from the uptempo they are running. Defensive improvement seems likely, so perhaps that has some downward effect of the total offense if they are protecting leads more often. 600 pass attempts seems like a pretty safe assumption. 120 targets is 20% of 600. I don't really see him commanding more than that with Beckham around.

Is the Giants a better landing spot for Shephard than the Saints for Michael Thomas?

Is Shephard a better player than Michael Thomas?

Thomas pre NFL draft seemed to be valued higher than Shephard was. So my puzzlement is why the Giants offense is perceived as being better than the Saints for a WR. It is either that or people have changed their minds and think Shephard is a better WR than Thomas now.
