6'6" 250lbs fast for his size (4.6 range), able to get separation on the outside. Capable blocker. Ended his senior season (9/5/15) with a broken tibula and fibula (lower leg), health is a concern.

Pro Football Focus analyst Michael Renner indicated that Florida TE Jake McGee struggles in his blocking.
While Renner did refer to McGee as "already a very polished receiver," he came down hard on other aspects of the 6-foot-5, 250-pounder's game. "He’s a bit of an average athlete for the position, though, and his run-blocking is non-existent at the moment," the analyst wrote, adding that of the 15 tight ends on his list of the best in this draft class, McGee graded out as the worst in terms of run-blocking. Renner concluded, "He has the size and strength to develop, but it’s difficult to see him being effective in that area any time soon." McGee should be considered a Day 3 pick at best.
