There is some merit to trading one of your WR/TE for a top RB if the draft picks you are holding will allow you to fill that empty spot in your roster. I would certainly consider trading Chase for Bijan straight up (or Gibbs or Hall) if you are holding the 1.06 or better this year. If not, I...
I see rules covering duplicate players when teams move up/down the pyramid, but how about duplicate draft picks?
As I am reading the rule, a team higher on the pyramid has priority where duplicate player limits are involved. Does that mean that a team bumping down the pyramid would have...
The "contract" language I was referring to is in paragraph 6e of your league rules. Viewing in conjunction with your response above, it could refer to length of duration allowed on the taxi squad. That's just not how I am used to seeing the word used in conjunction with a dynasty league.
Is there an additional rookie draft? If so, do the teams that elected to keep their players also keep their earned rookie draft slots? How would the "start over teams" acquire rookie draft slots? How many rounds is the rookie draft?
Is there a team salary cap?
I see language about "contracts"...
I'm seeing a 6 player taxi squad, but no rules on years of player experience to be eligible, how and when it is populated, or any eligibility rules for moving players back and forth from the regular roster. Can you elaborate on this or point me to a screen where it can be viewed?
I like to think of keeper players as if they are a dynasty asset. ARSB has three things going for him here, youth, superior draft pick, and the probability of greater career longevity.
I'd reject. You've got good strength already at WR, but not so much at QB. Wilson is a question mark after last season, and if that carries over to this year trading away Watson would be a disaster. If you have Robinson it means you have already had your rookie draft, so limited opportunity to...
In a similar position myself drafting at 1.11. I am looking at Kincaid thinking that 1) he will currently be a good scoring option in the flex position and 2) he will eventually be a long-term replacement for Kelce's firepower.
1. What is the buy-in?
2. I'm new to contracts. Can you explain exactly how that 90 year contract cap can be applied?
3. Have any 2024 or beyond draft picks been traded to or away from these teams?
I have questions on your initial rookie draft. How will the draft order be determined for it, and can draft picks be traded prior to it? Also, if you match someone's bid to foil an attempted taxi squad poach, does that raise their salary?
No, max of 3 RBs. I'm weak at WR other than Diggs. Lazard would be my best choice for a WR2 (M. Goodwin, M. Hardman, C. Davis), and Dulcich my best choice for TE2 (Kelce).
League starts 8 offensive players (1 QB, 1-2 RB, 2-4 WRs. 1-2 TE, 1 PK) and 11 IDPs (1-2 DT, 1-2 DE, 3-4 LB, 2-3 CB, 2-3 S). Startables are Allen or Cousins at QB, Taylor, Henry, and Dillon at RB, Diggs, A. Robinson, and Lazard at WR, and Kelce at TE. IDP group is OK at DL and CB and above...
I just got into my first dynasty league through a dispersal draft. I had what I think is a great draft, good enough to be a strong contender for the league championship this year. I got Jonathan Taylor, Derrick Henry, and AJ Dillon as startable running backs, plus drafted Cook and Pacheco in my...
