FFA Top 200 Horror Movies of All Time: #45 - Nosferatu

Bagul was creep af. Sinister is the kind of horror movie I like and am always searching for. Yes there is some evilness perpetrated but much of it is not on screen and is alluded to in pictures and old family movies so it's not as too much Hostel or Saw. And Bagul was creepy af, did I mention...

The force of nature that is Taylor Swift - New Album coming April 2024

I think I know a couple of Swift songs via osmosis but never really looked into her as a performer or musician so I watched about an hour of the Eras tour video on netflix to see what Taylor Swift was all about. She certainly puts on a great show with costume changes, set designs, supporting...

Road rage is out of control

When my son was 7 or so I was driving him somewhere when another driver did something I did not appreciate(can't recall what) so I gave him the "effing jerk!" treatment in a loud outburst. Son says "Dad! I'm in the car ya know! You're almost as bad as Aunt Tammy!" She is mi S-I-L that looked...

    No more Boy Scouts

There were a number of sisters more invested in our Scout program than their brothers and they loved being a part of the team. Good experience for all of us.

    No more Boy Scouts

Girl Scouts relies on the troop mom and often leans on the arts and crafts side rather than the outdoors kind of stuff, imo. That was the experience with my sisters while we were growing up and also my nieces about 10 years ago. They are two different programs and have different setups as far as...

    No more Boy Scouts

Good, finally catching up with the times. As a former scout leader I was heartened that our particular Troop was inclusive of girls for awhile. It made it family friendly and offered opportunities to introduce more folks to the positives of the Scouting program.

<Vader voice> "Dickey, I am your father"</Vader voice> Both Them and the OG Thing are classics that I fell in love with again on creature feature Saturday. The sound of the ants in Them was creepy as all get out and the movie was one of the better from the Atomic Age Monster movies. As for...

FFA Top 200 Horror Movies of All Time: #45 - Nosferatu

So, I liked this movie enough and was super glad all the main characters died because they were annoying f%#ks but I got motion sickness halfway through and had to pause for a bit. The shaky cam was overdone and made me actually nauseous but the climax shot was different and kind of cool.

FFA Top 200 Horror Movies of All Time: #45 - Nosferatu

Love it! The whole cast shines in this and it is a romp! My son and I have seen just about all the sequels(I think there's 57  ...) and while the budget keeps shrinking they keep the corniness and earnestness alive.
