Here's another angle, though one that will get angry reactions. Instead of raising RB pay to equal other positions, bring the other positions back down close to RB pay. How? We all collectively stop giving so much of our money to millionaires and billionaires. The increase in salaries, ticket...
I'm starting to think that this all means two things:
1. The Giants do not think Barkley has multiple years of top performance left, and may actually prefer to have him on a 1-year deal with freedom to go another way in 2024. Schoen probably stretched a bit beyond what he really wanted to do to...
According to the NY Post, the Giants later offer includes $19.5mm in guarantees, which isn't enough for Barkley.

I'm also seeing some of the issues with LBs, and highlighting teams in my league. I have already notified help.
There are also similar issues with the player projections page for LBs. And the export feature only gives players on Offense.
It's a matter of strategy. Hopefully, this will be the last time that a change of this magnitude comes along, but we do make choices and plans to aim for the highest scoring at each position.
Saying it another way, how have you chosen to acquire talent at each position? The number of players...
Just feels like reporters speculating, and no actual facts. The only "expectation" is that some reporter said it, so it must be true, and duly retold by another reporter.
There was talk a week or so back that they might be able to sign Jones for 4 years/$120mm/$80mm guaranteed. If they do that, and franchise Barkley for the $10mm, that could be a reasonable middle of the road approach to their current situation. It will give them time to fix some other holes and...
Yes, as already noted Darrisaw was available, he went at #23. While at the time I personally wanted them to take Parsons or Slater, I did think they got a nice haul from the Bears to trade down. That said, taking Toney at #20 is what I'm discussing. They could have taken Darrisaw instead, and...
The PFF report shows Andrew Thomas's 89.6 overall PFF grade is second only to Christian Darrisaw of the Minnesota Vikings (89.8) among offensive tackles. Imagine if the Giants had taken Darrisaw instead of Toney? Then they'd have had their pick of WRs this year instead of Neal.
I'm surprised that the Giants were able to make this work under the cap. I thought that the dead money from his original signing bonus was more than they could handle in 2022?
The amount of IDP content has increased, and there definitely have been new hires in the space. There certainly is a large gap to fill, it was two years ago I believe that Jene Bramel stopped writing his IDP column? Still waiting to see what the regular season coverage looks like. All of that...
Lots of great new features. Unfortunately, the player projections are still not calculating correct fantasy points using league scoring rules for IDPs.
