A buddy of mine said it perfectly.
"Its a great story, another news topic that can go a long way in the media. I like Sanders, but he is literally in the perfect scenario". (College)
But if everyone thinks he will come along and give these big money athletes orders (err coaching) then I...
I have Chandler in several decent size $$$ leagues.
I think the play is to bench both for a week and watch what happens.
Of course, not everyone can afford this at this point..... me included.
I might play Chandler as a desperation play in one spot.
:wall:
I'm at a point where I likely need to win the next 5 ...... (yikes) to have a shot at the playoffs.
Pittman has been better than I expected this season, but I ALSO had him last year in the same league (my biggest and longest running).
I swore I'd never own Pittman again, but I like the talent...
I just picked up Henderson in 3 of 3 leagues.
Here's to have him having 1-2 solid games so I can flip him for a bag of peanut MnMs. :football:
In a dream world I might get a WR2 for him, but it would take a big couple weeks out of Henderson.
What if any strategies/counter strategies do you to try and save a lost season.......?
My one big one is going over late season schedules, and trying to buy "slightly low" on a guy that may have an epic end of season run.
Let's face it, you will need a Hell of a run in most leagues to come...
I typed out a long response, but it vanished into the quote function. :wall:
Essentially Chris Ivory was one of my favorite modern RBs to watch, he ran with a "IDGAF" style, and was never scared of hits.
I have compared Foreman to not only Chris Ivory, but kinda similar to Isaiah Pacheco...
Um, I just added him to a 1-4 team of my own. I should be set at RB, but I'd much rather have him on my end of bench (taking away a possible starter from other desperados) than giving someone else a "fair" option to fill in when needed.
:football:
All good points^^^.
I was fortunate to snag Foreman in one ppr league (where I had multiple big RB injuries) and he is looking like a possible flex. (I have Herbert in 2 leagues as my RB3, this is one) I don't much like him in this format, but I'm at a point where I need warm bodies at RB...
That is tough.
I'm in 3 leagues, lost my #1 pick in 2 leagues for extended time (Barkley and Jefferson) also lost Mike Evans early game in 2 leagues (he was the #9 WR at the time) I also lost Khalil Herbert in 2 leagues (my RB3-4) and I lost Javonte Williams in ALL THREE LEAGUES. (Back...
14 carries for 30 yards.............. tells me all I need to know. I dropped him earlier in the week in a 12 teamer/standard, even though I have Barkley there too.
Breida won't be clogging my roster ever again.
When is Saquon coming back???????
*SIGNED*, concerned Saquon owner.
:wall:
This ^^^ times 100.
I already own Spears in 2 of 3 leagues. I've been telling others around me the stars are aligning on this one.
Have a look at his late season schedule.............
WEEK 12 - vs CAR
WEEK 13 - vs INDY
WEEK 14 - @ MIA
WEEK 15 - vs HOU
WEEK 16 - vs SEA
WEEK 17 - @ HOU...
Everyone seems to be sleeping on ZACH ERTZ , and I get it.
However, he's had 10 targets and 8 in the two weeks so far.
I know its just a low end TE1 (probably) but if you are desperate at TE, I'm snagging him in a couple spots.
He has only had 77 yards combined, and NO TOUCHDOWNS, which is...
Most leagues "dyno?"................give me Garrett Wilson over Gibbs.
However he sounded great, so Gibbs (to an rb needy team) is pretty appealing for a desperate owner. Nothing is dire yet (Dobbins etc owners) but in a week or two that "Garrett for Gibbs" might turn out to be lopsided...
Its a 10 teamer standard. (start 3 WRs though and no flex, everything else is normal)
I drafted from the #1 slot...........
#1 - Justin Jefferson
#2 - Dameon Pierce (my guy, was going in rd 2 or 3 to me regardless)
# 3 - Aaron Jones
#4 - Keenan Allen (I knew this would be my last chance at...
Draft day regerts..................
I'm drafting in 20 minutes in my last league (err maybe). I drew #1 overall, which I never really want.
It is a start 3WRs/mandatory 10 teamer.
Justin Jefferson welcome to my team. I'm gonna regert this one, I can smell it.
AVOID BOYS~! :wall:
Such a great idea for a thread, and one I remember from years past.
I just had my 2nd draft last night, and I will post that hunt/not hunt roster tonight or tomorrow.
Appreciate the responses, and as interesting as this is right now, it's going to be far more interesting near the end of...
One of the first ones I played in was 2007.
One of the first ones I was commish in, I ran with my best friend. Sadly he's been gone for 6-7 years.
We named the league in his honor, I miss him to this day. We started that league in 2011.
Nabbed him in my biggest $$$ 12 teamer last night.
I started RB-RB and I felt the only chance I had left at an elite WE was Allen.
I've traditionally pivoted elsewhere due to age, injury concerns, or some combo of both.
But when he's healthy, he has flat delivered the goods.
