I'd rate Miami's season at a 7, if only because most of the last 20 years has been so miserable and at least the team was a lot of fun to watch most of the time. If I remove the influence of previous seasons then it's more like a 6. They met expectations by making the playoffs, but the end of...
If Mostert and Waddle are back I can see Miami's offense being okay (around 17-20 points, with maybe one more score if they get a short field) against KC. But even against a down KC offense I have no idea how Miami is going to stop the Chiefs unless they're just coughing up the ball left and right.
Kyler Murray (after Mullens and Russ were benched, Kyler is our only option) vs. Josh Allen
At this point, just hoping not to get absolutely destroyed at the QB spot.
We start two RBs and a flex in my league and those are my three guys (keeping Achane and Chandler on the bench). Hoping they all come through again like they did this past week.
He's been awesome to watch this season. I grabbed him last year in dynasty and it's been great watching him take the lead role and put up consistent points.
I have no idea what to do. My dynasty league doesn't allow pickups, so Mariota isn't an option. I have Sam Howell as another option and the matchup this week isn't bad. It's a close playoff matchup and we both have lots of guys playing later, so consider it 50/50. Looking for any thoughts on...
Good: I have Gibbs (and started him) in all three leagues where I made the playoffs.
Bad: I played against LaPorta in two leagues (and St. Brown in one of those). That last TD was painful.
The Chiefs offense has definitely looked flat more often this season than I can ever remember with Mahomes at QB. It all just seems so much harder for them than it did in the past.
Made a big trade in my contract-based dynasty league today. The number in parentheses is the remaining contract term (including this year). Note that we have to start a rookie, so rookie QBs have strong value and our draft picks tend to have more value than in traditional leagues. Also, this...
I like both Tua and Herbert, but they have very different skill sets. Yes, Herbert is more physically gifted (especially running the ball) and looks more like a QB. Tua processes coverages and routes faster and is more accurate. Give both QBs a clean pocket and I'll take Tua, but if things...
After years of misery, I just want Miami to win the division and then win a playoff game. I'll worry about matchups and going on the road in the playoffs at that point.
