To recap one of my teams:
-Had A.J., Puka on bye, plus Nico and Higgins out injured
-Had to pick up guys like Quentin Johnston and Robert Woods off the scrap heap to start
-My other WR starter, Diontae Johnson, usually a target hog, does next to nothing
-I lose by less than a point tonight...
Bah, now he wants Cooper as well (he'll throw in some trash WR off his bench to make it a 3 for 3 trade). If Cooper continues down his current path, I feel like I'd be giving up too big a package overall, but I'm still thinking about it.
I was offered Justin Jefferson, and I would give up St. Brown and Pitts. He's willing to toss in Everett as well. My other receivers are DJ Moore, London, Amari Cooper, Chark, and Meyers. My other TE is Irv Smith (Njoku is on the waiver wire, but I'm only 10th in the waiver order). Maybe this is...
Chargers a viable play now? They're getting players back, they have the motivation of the playoff race plus getting embarrassed last week, Denver players are dropping like flies, and it's still Drew Lock starting.
Made the finals in the most expensive money league I've been a part of, but the Dallas D/ST gave me one hell of a scare. Left quite a few points on my bench, so it really would've chapped my ### had I lost.
I ended up not using him in two leagues after scooping him up (started Mattison/Najee and RoJo/Robinson), but I still won both anyways. And now he may not be usable again depending on Ekeler's status. Funny how that works.
It's gonna be a tough call for me this week. The ability to start him at WR has really helped me, but now I may have to sit him for Hollywood (good floor, but not as explosive lately) or OBJ (fairly TD dependent with the Rams so far).
QB: Hurts or Huntley
WR: St. Brown, McLaurin, or Mooney (0.5 PPR)
In this match-up, my opponent got off to a slow start last night with Tannehill, Foreman, and Kittle. He still has Kupp and the Dallas defense among others that can put up big numbers.
Well, I just grabbed Mattison, so that changes things a lot for me. I can sit Wilson and then figure out Mattison vs. Jackson later (probably the former).
By the way, my other backs are Taylor and Najee Harris. I know Harris just had a dud and his O-line is trash, but I can't possibly sit him...
Should I go with Jeff Wilson tonight or or wait and start Justin Jackson (decent chance Ekeler sits)?
Also, the D/STs have been picked through, so my "best" options are the Bengals and Broncos. Or I could *gulp* start the Falcons (especially if Goff sits), Lions, or Jets.
12 team, 2QB league:
1. Lawrence
2. Lance
3. Jones (guy is a Pats fan)
4. Fields
I'm up with 1.05 (then 2.04) and I've narrowed it down to Wilson, Chase, Harris, and Pitts. I'm a little thin at QB cause Lock is my 3rd QB currently, but my TE situation is one of the worst.. RB and WR is...
Lost both my title games. One I couldn't do anything about in terms of my lineup. Other league I left a lot of points on my bench. At the same time, the margin of victory will be enough where it wasn't like one player swap would've changed the outcome. So I'm sorta telling myself that there was...
